This should have been the original Alien Goddess flanker!
THIS is what I wanted the original Alien Goddess flanker to be! As in its name, this is an intensified version of the original, with a more creamy coconut, a louder jasmine, and a deeper, more ambery vanilla. It’s just gorgeous. I love the use of jasmine and jasmine tea to really amplify all the beautiful things about jasmine. The jasmine smells very natural (so slightly indolic), but without being off-putting or distracting too much from the rest of the composition. I am truly obsessed with this.
I haven’t tested out the performance yet, but I just know it’s worlds better than Alien Goddess. The sillage and longevity of the OG were so bad (at least on my skin) that it kind of dimmed my hopes for this one. But so far, it’s projecting quite loudly from just a few sprays. I’ll wear it out this weekend for date night and see how it does in the summer heat. Although, I could see this being a year round scent and I think even people that detest white florals like jasmine could take a liking to this.
To me, this is a better spin-off of the OG bewitching Alien, a better summerfied-version of the coveted fragrance (yes, better than Alien Eau Sublime and Alien Eau Extraordinaire), and a beautiful way to soften the original scent without losing the DNA completely. I agree with the comments that say that this is one of the better Alien flankers. If you were disappointed with the original AG like myself, definitely try this one out!
