Two Bold Little Fruits
Finally, the samples of the new Micallef fragrances have arrived that I ordered five weeks ago. Understandably, they had to be tested immediately, and in a nice orderly fashion.

The scent is typically Micallef, it can be as fresh as it wants, but life has to be sweetened just a little.

It starts, as could be expected, fruity.
The noble carriage comes to a stop, and the cheeky tangerine immediately shows who’s in charge and strides down the red carpet. After all, it’s time for the premiere. Two steps behind her comes the elegant companion, the ripe peach, walking with determination. The cheeky tangerine will certainly pick him up tonight. The red carpet is painfully long, and far behind, the floral guests are waiting to finally take center stage. But not a chance. The cheeky tangerine and her companion have no intention of clearing the field. The couple wants all the attention focused solely on them. Radiant and giggling, they stand in the spotlight, proudly presenting themselves to the public. For the beautiful floral guests, there’s only enough room for a brief appearance in the background, where none of them has even the slightest chance to showcase their advantages properly. Although the noble rose is being escorted by two admirers, Ylang-Ylang and Jasmine, on her arm. They are too proper and serious to behave like that. Even in the hall itself, where vanilla wants to finally give her speech with musk, the two can only be drowned out with great difficulty.

The pair of tangerine and peach is indeed beautiful. They radiate joy and cheerfulness, but somehow they can also be a bit exhausting at times. Two truly bold little fruits. And yet, it’s hard to resist their charm.

I will probably have to spend more time with the two of them. Even though they get on my nerves a bit, they are still incredibly interesting.
