The milder little brother of To Be
I ordered the Axe Apollo deodorant online, and when it arrived, I unpacked it and sprayed it on. Wait a moment, this scent seems familiar...? This fruity, herbaceous woody freshness, the violet leaf, the vetiver roots, the bitter citrus notes, the lightly resonating amber - where do I know this from...? I went to my perfume cabinet, took out Police To Be, and made a direct comparison. It's amazing how similar the two are at first; the only difference is that Police To Be smells more intense and additionally contains more spice from the pepper, while the patchouli creates a subtle heaviness that gradually comes to the forefront. Of course, I love my Police To Be more, but Axe Apollo is surprisingly reminiscent of it. It's like a lighter, sweeter version of Police To Be and for a deodorant scent, it's quite good and especially extraordinary, in my opinion. Thanks to Axe Apollo, my Police To Be lasts even longer, and I can fully enjoy it at smaller occasions and job interviews instead of using it up in everyday life. Even though the scent isn't expensive and can be easily repurchased, it would be a shame if it ran out too quickly, as it was my first perfume that my ex-girlfriend gave me for my birthday back then.
