Purple Passable Patchouli.
Purple *passable* patchouli. Definitely. I don't find myself responding strongly to this one way or the other, though I did find it amusing to try in the grocery store. It's nice.
It smells like a mid-range, designer patchouli with a woody base. Relatively, a masculine fragrance (who cares, wear what you want), and a cleaned up, fresh, blue leaning fragrance. As with most Axe offerings, it's truly not as bad as folks make it out to be.
The opening is harsh (Axe always is), but it mellows out into a decent, understandable composition. And as I often say; if you don't overspray this or *tell* someone it's Axe, most people wouldn't guess it was.
