2023 formulation: quieter marshmallow, soapy dry-down
Picture an ultra soft, cushiony cloud of marshmallow with a light, frothy latte in the background. The marshmallow isn't "store bought" - it's a homemade marhsmallow, barely toasted; a big pile of velvety thickness that you can sink your teeth into. The latte isn't too sweet, and is very quiet - more milky and airy than anything else, with coffee as an afterthought.
Dry-down keeps some of the soft sweetness of the marshmallow, but brings in a beautiful soapiness: it's fresh, clean, and similar to the soapy/"bar of white soap" jasmine DNA of Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin . It's STUNNING! If you combined Vanilla Bean Noel + Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin together, you'd get something close to this.
This year's formulation is very quiet overall; Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte is fairly soft to begin with, but the projection is lower than normal. That being said, it's still delicious - it's actually my favorite formulation of MPL so far, due to the especially lovely "soapiness". A cozy "personal scent bubble" gourmand that I can't wait to wear this fall!
