Hyper-realistic mint cocoa!
This is 100% mint cocoa - spot-on, hyper-realistic, and projects like a beast! I actually had to step back when smelling because it was SO strong (in a good way!).
I can see the parallels people make to thin mint cookies and mint chocolate chip ice cream - but to me it's neither of those... as it lacks a cookie/baked good note, and also isn't as lactonic as ice cream is IMO.
The cooling blast of mint from the opening balances well with the sweetness of the cocoa, and does soften a bit within a few minutes - to a mostly-hot cocoa dry-down (with a hint of mint in the base).
I can't wait to wear this one for the holidays. It's so icy, realistic, and festive!
