Almost from the light citrus and peachy debut you become aware of a battery of ominous synthetics waiting in the wings.
Woody and musky odourants creep up on the synthetic indolic jasmin, preparing to blast your nostrils with the perfume equivalent of Chinese lacquer.
It soon becomes repellant; a bitter-sour and slightly sweet, pink plastic thing of insulting cheapness.

Excellent surprise !

This one is really a very nice surprise!

Sweet (soft) citrus fruits, not at all acidic, with a slight sweet note, not invasive. The result is fruity, fresh and pleasant, frankly I wasn't expecting that much!

Found online for an absolutely ridiculous price, very good staying power and excellent sillage, Quatre by Boucheron is definitely worth it for spring and summer.

Bride's Scent

Soapy rose. Fresh, uncomplicated, deeply clean and effortlessly elegant. The synthetic-sweet fruity opening (berries, soft mandarin) is quickly forgotten. Coming to the rescue is Petalia. Rosy with hints of lily of the valley. Innocent, lovely, airy. The bride in early summer. Even the slight artificiality of the powdery laundry musk soap cannot tarnish this image. French nonchalance at a relatively low price - just one spray, please!

My Day Saver

A night filled with dark dreams, a bitterly unpleasant awakening, the left foot wants to be the first to get out of bed... well, wonderful, the day is already under a bad omen before it has even truly begun. The only remedy is a vigorous shower, my favorite cozy outfit, and Quatre by Boucheron. Because it sweeps away the darkness, also gets the right foot out of bed, washes away all bitterness with pure cleanliness, and lets the day shine fresh. An absolute feel-good fragrance.
The individual components? Hard for me to name, it’s the overall composition that wraps around you like a freshly washed cashmere shirt, enveloping you lightly like a feather and carrying you through the day with that - paradoxically - pleasantly warm freshness.

Do you need something like this or not?
Quatre reminds me of Pippi, a cheeky girl with freckles, whose red hair is braided into two sticking-out pigtails. Pippi embodies many desires that children wish for. She has her own horse, lives alone in her own house, the Villa Kunterbunt, and is very brave. Pippi is the strongest girl in the world. Since Pippi lives alone without parents, she can do whatever she wants...
Okay, a nine-year-old girl would certainly not spray on Quatre *g*
But this scent is so squeaky, zesty, and cheeky that it almost becomes boring.
All the listed fruits burst immediately upon the first spray into the nose, and you don't know whether to sneeze or grimace, whether you like it or not?
I would have wished for caramel as a tiny counterbalance to this sour fruit bomb. Let the fruit "calm down" a bit. Balance it out and not let it bounce around so hyperactively.
After about 2 hours, calm returns. It becomes softer, as if the fruits have been washed off, dried, and placed in a basket. The peel is neatly lined with a napkin first.
Now the scent no longer reminds one of a cheeky girl who is so lively, but of an adult woman who still has a twinkle in her eye, but has become much calmer ;-)

The air is clean and clear like freshly washed, jasmine and roses scenting the competition. Clean musk and delicate flowers. Well-groomed, fresh, elegant.
