Orange tea with salty mint
The fragrance was tested - as so often - on my skin:
Without having looked at the fragrance pyramid beforehand, my first association when spraying it on was: orange! I can somewhat understand the association with Wulong Cha. I don't find them super similar, but there are recognizable similarities.
In fact, the mix of lemon, bergamot and mandarin does seem a bit like orange to me. Certainly not an unusual perception. In any case, it is rather fruity, fresh and not very sweet. For whatever reason, there is also something salty in the fragrance for me. Not unpleasant, but somehow I can't place it. Maybe it's some kind of floral blend that doesn't mean anything to me. In any case, not unpleasant at all.
The mint and tea also come through a little. So for me, in summary, it's orange tea with salty mint.
After a few minutes, the citrus recedes somewhat. It remains fruity, slightly green and slightly (flowery?) salty. I don't notice a huge twist. Therefore for me a quite linear progression. Unfortunately, the fragrance reminds me a bit of shower gel. Not because it smells bad, but because I have smelled this kind of scent in a similar form before at DM or Rossmann. Of course, the perfume is of a slightly higher quality and less synthetic, but it is also somewhat interchangeable.
Who is the fragrance for? The fragrance really is absolutely unisex. I tried to imagine both genders and I couldn't clearly assign the fragrance to anyone and even a tendency, which I often have associatively, I couldn't perceive. The fragrance is suitable for every age group and will certainly appeal to them, even if it seems more classic than modern to me.
It is definitely a fragrance that does not offend and is very pleasing. It won't attract negative attention, most people will like it, but it probably won't pull the sausage off the plate either and therefore won't collect compliments without end. It's just not unusual.
The fragrance is great for summer, but certainly also works in spring and fall. In fact, I tend to like the fragrance more in fall than in spring. I don't know why. Normally, I tend to feel spring coming on.
I don't tend to wear the fragrance for going out or in the evening, it's too casual for that. But a good choice for any other situation.
