Signature Scent

Allure sensuelle is my signature scent. With it, I feel feminine, sensual, classy, grown-up.
It is subtle, doesn’t scream, doesn’t want to stand out at all costs. If you are initially interested in the pleasant citrus notes, it invites you to get to know it better. And later on, when the vanilla-like comforting veil envelops the skin, it delights those who enjoy looking behind façades.

"Velvet and Silk". The Best Combination. Or: The World Needs 'Brividi'

Who dreams of a bicycle made of diamonds?
Who wishes that some things may never change?
That the light in the eyes of those you love may never fade?
And that it could always overshadow fear?
Maybe not everyone, and not at all times, but Tshajbukoshka does. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, since the first encounter.
In a typical Tshajbuk combination of silk and velvet, you see T. from T. dancing or rather clumsily swirling around and loudly shouting "Iiiich habe gewooonnen!" squeaking and playing favorites for everyone.
The winner is 'Brividi' by Mahmood and Blanco, at Sanremo 2022.
And the world needs Brividi. It needs bicycles made of diamonds, beams in the eyes, it needs the reminder that love is limitless, knows no boundaries of gender, sexes, or countries.
It needs "Velvet and Silk" (and I thank Amazona for the inspiration), a bit of bitterness, a few smoke clouds on the horizon, and also melancholy and sadness, to appreciate the beautiful times even more. Hunger against baskets of sugared fruits.
Where there is light, there is shadow. From shadow to light. Soft, bright, radiant.
"E ti vorrei amare, ma sbaglio sempre" (I want to love you, but I always fail) - not this time.

Fluffy Lemon Bomb *g*

Ah, I love the contradictory... "fluffy" and .. "bomb".

I know the "normal" Allure, which I like, but it's too heavy for me.

Now I also know the Allure Sensuelle EdT and I have to say, yes... I like THIS one much better, because it's not as heavy, but rather more refreshing.

This reminds me of:

Do you know the land where the lemons bloom,
In the dark foliage the gold oranges glow,
A gentle wind blows from the blue sky,
The myrtle stands still and high the laurel,
Do you know it well...

Allure Sensuelle EdT starts on me immediately with such a lemon bomb that I got teary-eyed, but it was quickly wiped away because it became so beautifully fluffy.
~~ I write lemon because for me it makes no difference whether bergamot, mandarin, or orange is mentioned. I can't distinguish it here. For me, it simply smells refreshing like citrus fruits ~~

Amber, patchouli, and vanilla elevate the lemon and wrap it up, so that it becomes somewhat tamed, yet is ALWAYS present. In contrast, the lemon takes away the heaviness and weight from the other "ingredients," making it very pleasant and also wearable in summer. Unfortunately, I can't detect the incense, nor the rose, which seems to completely fade away.

All in all, a great fragrance that brings a smile to my face, especially on such wonderful sunny and warm days.
