Light purple flowers
In my garden I have a path where two huge wisterias climb on each side. While in bloom this is the best place to be. The smell is so intense and overwhelming that your nose becomes almost anosmic but I tend to stay there for a long time anyway. I also love the time of year in spring when the lilacs burst and send out their marvellous smell for a short period. When I was a child I picked lilacs every day during their blooming and brought them home to my room. My mum did not like the smell but I loved it. Sleeping in a room filled with this amazing smell that was only there for 2-3 weeks where I live. And I loved the time of year when my mum bought a hyacinth bulb and placed it in the living room. I would wait, for ages I felt, for this beautiful flower to bloom, hoping it would be the purple one.
These three flowers are the heart of this scent, and I think that is why I love this so much. It is a scent that warms up. On my skin it is very subtle for the first 10-15 minutes, but then… Magic! It lasts for quite some time, and the base is a really wonderful mix of vanilla and musk.
The bottle is a smooth and beautiful see-through with the really sweet detail on the top: a chain that secures the top to the bottle. Both top, bottom and juice are in warm colours. Nicely done.
I own the original Love, Chloé and when I compare it to this, Eau Intense wins. Darker, smoother and more exotic. But both are really good fragrances.

Nose-Burning Floral Powder
Chloe's Love Eau Intense is perhaps a little too intense for me. I find the regular EDP versions heavy enough, so one step up in terms of projection, usually results in a head spin and a possible headache.

To start with, I'm not a big fan of Love, so this more intense flanker was not something I expected to enjoy. I tested it for the sake of seeing how the intense version compared to the original. Unfortunately they smell almost identical.

The opening of Love Eau Intense is quite a strong, powdery and soapy blend of lilac, iris and hyacinth. The blend itself is actually quite beautiful, but it's the strength of the opening that makes it a horrible experience for me. It's just way too strong. Every time I smell Love Eau Intense, my sensitive nose burns with the strength of it.

This is one of those fragrances that you have to be really careful with. If over applied it will easily become offensive, almost causing everyone, (including the wearer), to asphyxiate. It's also a good idea to let this fragrance dry on the skin before leaving the house.

The only part of Love Eau Intense that I liked, was the drydown. Thankfully the scent does become increasingly softer the longer it stays on the skin. The base notes are quite smooth and balanced, with a hint of iris, musk and vanilla.

Love Eau Intense is a rather warm and elegant fragrance when worn sparingly. Due to its 'out of this world' sillage and lasting strength, I would most likely choose to wear Love Eau Intense as a night-time only fragrance.

My First Great Love
Many years ago, when I knew nothing about perfume and, as a student, couldn't afford these scents, I took my first sniff of Chloe Love EdP.
I had read about it in a blog and was eventually captivated myself. Thus, this fragrance became a secret wish that I never expressed to anyone, as I found it obscene to spend 50€ or more on a perfume. (Ah yes, I wish I had maintained that frugal mindset ;) )

My first boyfriend and my first great love surprised me on my birthday with a large bottle of Chloe Eau de Intense.
I was thrilled. Really beside myself.
To this day, I don't know if it was a coincidence or how he could have known.
The intense version was even more beautiful than the regular EdP, and I wore it every day since that birthday.

I adored this scent for a few years.
It always accompanied me.
Summer and winter. One spray sweetened the entire day.
By now, I know that this is unfortunately not so common even with more expensive fragrances.
But this longevity, this intensity… a dream. It envelops you softly and elegantly.
It doesn't come on too strong, but just right. A floral powder dream.
And to this day, I know no better.

Unfortunately, like everything in life, the first love also came to an end. And with that, the fragrance became less and less the delicate perfect cloud of the past, but rather a memory of burst powder dreams.
Thus, I was a bit relieved when the bottle was finally empty.

Nevertheless, a few years later, I had to get a small bottle again.
And when I'm in the right mood, I like to wear it now and then, reminiscing about my youthful naivety and the person I used to be.

Eau Perfect!
Here comes a fragrance from Chloé that many really seem to like. Of course, with its powdery notes, it particularly appeals to women, but I would say that we men also enjoy the scent on you ladies :D
Right from my first test, I really liked the fragrance (and it got better and better later), so I am describing a scent that I would truly recommend!

The fragrance:
This scent starts off very soft-powdery and floral, where the iris is mainly noticeable in the top notes. Subtle, but pleasantly fragrant, sweet notes accompany it.
In the heart notes, it becomes even more floral, although the powdery perception diminishes. I think you can best smell the lilac here (to be honest, I don’t really know how the other floral notes smell). However, the fragrance in the heart notes seems to change slightly from time to time; I assume this is due to the floral notes, which are all equally intense, and you sometimes perceive one note and then another.
For those who fear that the powdery notes will completely fade away, I can reassure you. Because in the base, the fragrance becomes noticeably warmer, softer, and above all, more powdery again. This is due to the talcum, which works very well here and becomes even softer and gentler with the vanilla. Additionally, the base gets a slight sweet touch from the musk.

Longevity and sillage:
I would estimate the longevity at 8-10 hours, even longer on clothing.
As for the sillage, it starts off a bit weak and only unfolds and becomes stronger within the following few minutes. The fragrance is therefore very pleasant to smell on someone and, in my opinion, will also leave a nice scented trail. However, if sprayed too much, it can come off as very intense.

The bottle:
The bottle is tall (at least as always based on 100 mL…) and is round/oval on the sides. The bottom level consists of a thick, gilded base, where the name of the fragrance is embossed. The cap is trapezoidal and golden. The perfume liquid has an orange color. A great detail is the golden chain that connects the cap to the bottle. All in all, a very successful bottle.

So, this is what I call a women's fragrance. Love Eau Intense smells so pleasant that you would actually like to smell this scent on every woman. And I think most ladies should like it too. Because this fragrance is simply perfect in many ways. If a lady just wants to relax at home, she could reach for this scent, as it is beautifully warm and soft. But the same applies if she wants to appear elegant, sensual, or even sexy.

The fragrance suits many occasions and, in my opinion, should be present in every lady's fragrance collection. We men will like it on women anyway. Although the fragrance is not overly sweet, I still think it should be worn best in autumn and winter.

Normally, I always write that a fragrance is worth testing if I like it. This time, however, I want to explicitly mention here that one (woman…) misses something wonderful if she doesn’t test it.

Thus, Love, Chloé Eau Intense is also the first women's fragrance that I rate with 100%, as everything just fits here. The fragrance, longevity, sillage, and bottle. Everything is very super!

The ultimate powder dream...
My fragrance direction is increasingly changing. Not yet at the niche level, but at the private lines of the big Parisian and Milanese perfume houses. However, among the still few scents of the common perfumeries, this specimen from the powdery fragrances undoubtedly belongs. I often read that it is worn in winter due to its heaviness and intensity, but hardly any other scent evokes my spring feelings more. Love Chloe intense is for me a perfect and clean makeup powder scent, very soft, powdery, warm, and delicate. Even though I initially feel somewhat overwhelmed by the powdery florals, it is a very positive impression that gives me a lot of energy and envelops my skin in a long-lasting and powdery way. Freshly showered, I feel clean and freshly made up all day without needing to reapply, all over my body, and I smell like my makeup bag, which contains lipsticks, glosses, pencils, powder compact, and blush.
Flowers like hyacinth and lilac made me a bit hesitant in the pyramid, but iris, vanilla, and talcum piqued my interest. The test back then in the perfumery was immediately crystal clear; the bottle landed in my bag without much thought. The scent is very intense and initially very floral, but the powder, the very long-lasting, elegant, and somehow also very sexy feminine powdery base is simply heavenly. I skipped the regular EdP, but I am now very much focused on it and want to test it more thoroughly. It is supposed to be a bit fresher, but just as powdery. I think I need to have both. Surely, each is beautiful in its own way and full of makeup powder dust...

More heliotrope focused, softer & less soapy than the original. Anchored by a sweeter, more resinous base. Very retro femme fatale-esque.

While Chloé has disappointed me in its variations so far, this one is something special: powdery, sweet resinous, floral, and erotic.

Warm, soft freshness like in the laundry room mixed with orange blossom. The powderiness is limited, not a makeup pot. I like it a lot.

An exception in the lineup. Powder, flowers, lipstick. Very very very beautiful. Subtle eroticism. Why was it discontinued???

Wow, I wouldn't have expected that from the brand. Floral-spicy and heavily powdery. Kind of old-school and a bit unconventional.

Finally, I have it again, the best violet powder scent there is! Powdery, floral, soft, and wintry! Why is something like this being discontinued?
