Actually, I'm...
...give Chloé scents a wide berth. A wide berth. I don't like them. I don't like them. Period. It's like Chanel. I don't like them. Period.
Aaabut...my last fragrance post included a bottling of this scent. It was hot that day, the day was stressful I was slightly irritable (but only slightly) and I had a few things to do on the PC.
Unfocused and listless (and irritable) as I was, my eyes fell on the tester... "oh what the heck" I thought to myself and sprayed it on my forearm. Ooooyyy...that mandarineeee...instantly my spirits woke up. So beautifully fruity, but light as a white curtain in the wind paired with a delicate rose with morning dew still visible on the blossom...lovely. In the later course joins still a cozy amber to it, that's it.
This fragrance is not exciting, it also has no spectacular scent progression, but it is great made. He invigorates, refreshes, lifts the mood (is probably because of the mandarin) and is a summer fragrance for daytime. He is not a room filler and also does not last long (at least not with me)...unfortunately...but he conjures up a smile on your face...

Elegant freshness
Hubby had bought a flat screen TV - the size of Holland.

Two strong young men dragged the Trumm into the house - and disappeared in a hurry.
So the hubby went to set up the high-tech device.

His initial high spirits sank considerably, and he offered me, I may but read the Bedienungsanleitunng - I'm but the reader in this household .
I clarified him that this had nothing to do with literary reading - and also hurriedly left the house.

Destination: Karstadt - perfumery department.
And a new offshoot of Chloe laughed at me.

The Chloes are dear to me anyway - and there was even a tester.

I was curious about the ingredient tangerine - but could only hear tangerine, which seems but fresh and unsour - and keeps the fragrance transparent.
The rose is also white in my perception - slightly citric touched.
I see the elegant rose " A Whiter Shade of Pale " in front of me, which illuminates and decorates my garden.
The currant is subtly tart - and also goes in the fresh direction.
Light and light mixes with the cedar - mildly sweetened by amber.

A bright positive fragrance with casual elegance, which also fits into the autumn.

Thus cheered up I drive home again - where the hubby still broods over the manual.

His gloomy mood but bounces off the cheerful mood scent - which I carry lighthearted but clearly into the house.

Tangerine lands on the wish list - it is yes soon Christmas.

A fruity-floral evergreen
Already with the first spray is to be recognized with chloé tangerine the typical chloé signature, the light rose smell, which gives all chloés its face.

ROSE TANGERINE is, however, more self-confident, modern and feminine than its predecessors, especially joins here a fruity and lively tangerine, which gives the fragrance its name.
Nevertheless, he loses nothing of the typical
romantic, playful elegance of the house Chloé.

Delicate rose is the first thing that captures the nose.I like rose fragrances like, they must not, however, be too "crass" dosed,as it is, for example, MFK l'eau de la rose.
The rose in the fragrances of Chloé is dosed for my feeling just right, because it is light, feminine and sensual and always gives its wearer a touch of cool romance.

Surprisingly sweet and quite suddenly-after about 10 minutes- turns the fragrance into the fruity. tangy tangerine and currant join the rose.

Who the previous Chloés were too rose-heavy, could find here a rather fruity-floral answer. In my eyes, rose tangerine offers a very good start for Chloé fragrance beginners.

With rose tangerine it is not a fragrance that slays you. For people with a preference for very present fragrances Chloé rose tangerine is definitely nothing. Like all fragrances from the series, this is also very close to the body and discreet.

Exciting to the fragrance is in my eyes, however, that it changes again about two hours after application. When warm woody notes of cedar and ambra are added, rose tangerine gets some character and more presence.

Even if rose tangerine reminds me a little of the edT from 2009, the fragrance has a completely independent temperament, with more sweetness than its predecessor, which was rather powdery, which rose tangerime does not offer at all.

The fragrance is suitable for every situation in life, for everyday life, festivities or office.da There are so many different fragrances, every woman, every age finds their matching Chloé fragrance, without having to do without the typical Chloé signature.

Like all fragrances that I own from Chloé, rose tangerine is also perceived by my environment as pleasant and seductive. The typical chloé note also tells my environment - without saying a word - that I wear Chloé.
I personally appreciate that about fragrances from Chloé very much.

Sillage and projection are rather moderate.
The texture is soft and delicate.

The bottle is handy and elegant and with the bow a real eye-catcher

Dill cucumber water
For those who wonder why there was no 10th door yesterday, the commentary on Miller Harris - Lumière Dorèe was already written, I just added the video. But now to today's 11th perfume advent calendar-door:

A long time ago, I wrote a blog called "the aberrations of the nose". In it, I described what my nose actually smells from time to time at the scents given. Out came this list:

Roses in combination with citrus fruits: Dill cucumber water
Cedar wood: either pencil sharpener waste or ham
Saffron: Paprika
Fig: cat or coconut
Cassis: definitely and almost always cat
Lily of the valley in oriental combinations: soapy laboratory chemicals
Chocolate: wet dog
Aquatic notes: Fish
Fresh notes: Banana
Patchouli: Valerian
Vanilla: mushroom

I should get one of these nasal aberrations when I first test the Chloé Rose Tangerine, but first a few facts about the scent:
Chloé Rose Tangerie has been released this year as a women's fragrance. Created by Sidonie Lancaster and Michel Almairac, who was already co-responsible for the creation of the popular Chloé Eau de Parfum and who also co-developed my beloved Chloé Eau de Toilette.

I sprayed both of them again shortly before the first test of the Rose Tangerine and I have to say that I love to smell the eau de parfum on others, but to me the rose sometimes seems too woody and distant, and it quickly becomes soapy on my skin. The eau de toilette starts with me icy fresh, with a cooler but less woody rose, and then gains an aromatic cedar wood note
So I took the test with a lot of courage and knowledge: Ah tangerine, squashed tangerine...... green tangerine ....... and wood.........wood? Green wood? .........Dill, I hardly dare to smell further because Tada, you already suspect it, there it is again: DILLGURKENWASSER! ................all in the back and very small is a wooden rose à la Chloé hidden. But my nose simply cannot smell past the evil spice herb. I held out for a couple of hours during the first test, but then I washed everything off and couldn't see anything else in the drydown, so I'm now bravely repeating the test a second time.

Here are my second impressions:
Juicy mandarin, slightly artificial, something aromatic in the background (Dill? I hardly dare to pronounce it, because if I don't pronounce it, I might smell something different this time) The roses are heavily withered, similar to Roses de Chloé. The mandarins dry out just as quickly. The dill stays in the background today, but I'm sure that when they tied the bouquet of roses they simply used dill instead of baby's breath....a light soap note comes through in the drydown and discreetly reminds me of the eau de parfum.

One thing's for sure, my scent won't be that one. Even though the dill cucumber water is tamer today than when I first tested it, I cannot smell completely around the herb. Anyway, one less scent I have to get into the collection, even if I like the idea of tangerines and roses very much.

Raffle/Tester Perfume
I purchased the Chloé Rose Tangerine in a giveaway. I was allowed to test it. At first smell it smells like tipysch Chloé, then is for me citric and only very little floral. My disappointment next to a Chloé edp is it after 4std could not perceive. It dissipates very quickly. Also on clothes it does not stay too long. Price for it I find bit expensive. I would definitely catch up only for a bargain price, otherwise I do not buy it. For really hot summers I can recommend it

Starts with Chloe's usual bright, loud, cold-cream rose; becomes headachey nuclear-powered powder/tangerine/cedar. Had to scrub.
