Garden Party
Beautiful sweetness - I get cakes instead of tea, but I can see where others might find a sugary mint in it. From the notes I might have expected something like Trudon's beautiful Abd El Kader - but this is a CdG fragrance, so of course it doesn't go in that direction. Instead it's more like a pleasant toothpaste after scent than a real mint tea. I love it one moment and wouldn't wear it the next, and then love it again. I want to wear it to a garden party.

Nomad Tea
Why Nomad Tea was released as part of the "Sweet" series remains a mystery, perhaps to Rei Kawabuko or her marketing department, because this scent is not really sweet. While the slightly metallic tea and smoky notes create a certain sweet-sourness indirectly, in my opinion, it misses the mark. The "sweet" bottle also doesn't quite match what is hidden inside it.
However, since I have no interest in the other scents from the series 7 and I'm not an olfactory sweet tooth, this is rather a positive aspect, as Nomad Tea indeed smells like tea. The overall impression is extremely watery, as if all the aromas were brewed in a small, slightly rusted metal kettle somewhere in a nomad tent in the desert.

What wafts into your nose is therefore not "perfume mint," but the aroma of Moroccan mint tea. Some geranium and green tea leaves float in the kettle, adding depth to the mint note and rounding it out a bit.
In the drydown, a sweet-metallic, almost leathery note joins in, which (in my imagination) arises from brewing in the old metal kettle and a few sugar cubes, accentuating the very prominent desert smoke in the scent, or whatever is smoked in this nomad tent.

So, for those who want to know what Nomad Tea smells like, imagine sitting in a nomad tent in the desert and inhaling the scent of fresh mint tea. Smoky, minty, mysterious, and for me, right on the threshold between perfume and the scent of a place.

Gorgeous unisex, fresh & green. The mint is perfect, as the scent becomes like sweet tea, with woody notes & a touch of smoke. Fabulous!

Very sweet mint, like three full spoons of sugar in the mint tea. Beside it, candle wax drips slowly. Definitely an acquired taste.
