The musty lagoon
I finally got around to testing Stüssy Laguna Beach this morning. The good reviews stoked with me relatively high expectations of the perfume. I must say here immediately I would have imagined the perfume completely different more in the direction of Creed Virgin Island Water or perhaps in the direction of Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Moss with a floral frangipani note, so rather fruity, fresh and aquatic. Laguna Beach is none of those things though unfortunately, sorry for my words but I just find Laguna Beach incredibly musty and somewhat synthetic, I don't like the scent at all. The smell has something of a lagoon with a swamp behind it, or something musty behind the beach. I would love to give you scent notes here, but unfortunately I just don't smell any note clearly here, it's just so terribly musty and muddled. Laguna Beach was one of the few scents which I washed off after a few hours.

As a conclusion, I can only say here that I would like to leave this lagoon at the speed of light again.

The pyramid fails to describe what I'm getting: caraway with vanillic undertones, lessened to transparency, yet retaining performance.

I'm not a fan of marine fragrances but gave this a shot. It starts off alright/blue, but 5 min later this made me naseaous... not for me
