Oreo Cookie Dust Hugs!

Amour de cacao offers a great dry milk chocolaty cocoa scent for a fair price. Similar to the richer chocolate greedy, amour de cacao is more of a soft dry version without dried fruits. I think Amour de cacao smells exactly like the chocolate cookie parts of an oreo crumbled up to sprinkle on top of ice cream or make a pie crust. The projection is moderate and the silage is surprisingly soft, making it snuggly and an easy wear which you wouldn't expect. This is a chocolate scent you could wear in a close quarters situation. If you want a stronger chocolate scent you might, like me choose to wear several sprays at once to enjoy a cloud with the strength of a gourmand like pink sugar. The versatility of the strength of this chocolate scent is adaptable and user friendly. On a side note, I hardly smell any fruits just chocolate and a little bit of vanilla. Amour de cacao is jolly and simple, don't expect much, only expect to enjoy!

Cacao powder/ nesquik

Tried this perfume after the Chocolate Greedy, which was so disappointing for a "chocolate" fragrance. So, I tried this one instead.
Amour de cacao has a very light citrus opening, and it fades into an INCREDIBLE cacao powder (super sweet like nesquik).

I must say, If you're looking for a very sweet - gourmand cacao, this one is perfect !

And suddenly I'm wearing a gourmand

Already after "Vanille Extreme," I found that Comptoir Sud Pacifique simply has a special strength for wonderfully thick, soft gourmands. That didn't mean I found it wearable for a long time. Too full, too lush, no transparency in the texture, too much to slurp. The usual reservations one has against gourmands.
Even the slightly kitschy titled Amour De Cacao is an overwhelming dream for sweet-toothed lovers like no other. A sloshing, fluffy, creamy sea into which one would gladly risk a nose dive with an open mouth. Why, for someone who until now really wore nothing but citrus and leaf scents on their skin and found things sweet that others still found sour, THIS cocoa bomb will make its way into the collection, only the cocoa cuckoo knows. But it will.
Amour De Cacao is, despite all its massiveness, a beautiful, dark skin scent when you don't use more than three sprays. And it is, especially on men's skin, also a bit nutty-roasted. Just as a hint, but a very appealing one. The rest reminds me of the school milk that I used to buy from the volunteer milk mothers at the small serving hatch next to the janitor's office from first to fourth grade. Plump drink cartons with dark chocolate drink inside, which tasted as if there was almost a bit of rum in it, but it was just the unfamiliar bittersweet note that my child tongue didn't know yet. The vanilla is round and softens what the chocolate might have in sharp edges. In this way, something is created that is full but not too overwhelming. I would have never expected that! Unfortunately, all the fruits from the pyramid are missing for me. Too bad, because the idea with the star fruit really has its charm.
That I would come back to the gourmand, I would not have suspected. But I will, especially considering the fair price, soon order a bottle.

Steaming Cocoa with Whipped Cream

Outside, it has been gray all day. It keeps raining. Autumn is showing its gloomy side, not its golden one. How good it is that we perfume enthusiasts have our remedies to enjoy even such days. So then: The silver medicine bottle is quickly opened and a few sprays on the skin. Right from the start, a wonderfully spicy candied orange rises to the nose, but after a few minutes, it transitions into a fine cocoa note. However, this is not bitter cocoa powder - nor spicy beans. This is a steaming cup of warm cocoa made with real milk. Every now and then, I catch a whiff of roasted almond - which pairs excellently with the beautifully draped whipped cream. This calorie-free delight lasts about six hours. Then the cup is emptied and it gets refilled: this time, the cocoa drink is made with white chocolate. Yes, it is exactly that milky vanilla scent that I love so much. After another hour, everything has been drunk. What now? One more round, please!
Conclusion: for anyone who can occasionally enjoy something gourmand, not too sweet, this is a true treasure. - Thank you dear Josie78 for enabling this delight for me!
The progression of the scent is not particularly sophisticated, the bottle is not particularly stylish, but I love the scent nonetheless - not daily, but on some days it is my salvation!

Chocolate Greedy extremely similar

As a big Chocolate Greedy fan, I was of course immediately thrilled that Amour de Cacao smells so similar to Chocolate Greedy.
Very realistic chocolate, freshly baked cookies, and orange peel in the background, that's all I perceive.
It not only sounds delicious, it smells that way too.
However, compared to Chocolate Greedy, this one has poorer longevity and projection, which makes it more of a cozy scent.

Is it worth buying? If you have Chocolate Greedy, then you might not need this one.
As mentioned, they are far too similar.
If you don't have either and you can get this one much cheaper, then it's worth every cent.

Although it's intended for the ladies, I would say this is definitely a unisex fragrance.
Both genders can simply wear chocolate.
