Loose roses for warmer days
Hello and have a nice evening :)
Hm, yes I know, a light rose scent usually belongs in spring or summer, doesn't it? Well, of course, there are roses in winterly scents as well, as a component of hardly sweetish or spicy scents, but here we have a really loose rose scent, which belongs to the warmer seasons.

Then why am I testing him? Well, he was in my rehearsal box, and you know what it's like when you see untested scents: You just have to test it, no matter what scent it is, am I right? Yes, yes, yes...! D
Especially if you are with relatives, if you are a little bored and have to retreat from complaining and above all loudly screaming and annoying children, in order to try a scent in all secrecy and thus be able to switch off a little... luckily the holidays here are soon over and the children have to go back to school, hell hell hell hell hell hell
And if it is also a summery scent, then perhaps you can warm up a little on those cold days... at least these are the hopes of a cold person who coughs and has a disgusting sore throat... *sigh and cough*

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins with a strongly scented rose. Then there are also some sweet scents, but they quickly move to the side and make room for the bitter scents of the rose. You might smell the stem of these flowers here, which gives the scent a slightly bitter (and slightly green) touch, but I'm not so sure here. There are also peaches in the fragrance pyramid here, but I could hardly perceive these fruity notes.
Other floral notes are added, with the rose always in the foreground. The lilac makes the scent slightly stuffy, but that's not so bad here and I think that you ladies might like the lilac more. The tart notes calm down over time, so that later you can smell more sweetish notes that probably come from the violets (and even later a little from the vanilla). Otherwise, one simply smells roses with a later, slightly woody background in the base. A actually nice, but also a little boring scent.

Sillage and shelf life:
The Sillage is only strong for a short time and then goes down strongly. It can always be smelled at the sprayed area, but you have to get very close to the person wearing the scent if you want to smell the scent at one of them. The shelf life is also weak or short and may be about three hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is slightly trapezoidal and has no label. Instead, a coloured drawing of a rose was printed on the bottle next to the name of the fragrance, which looks quite nice. The lid is white and also trapezoidal. It's all done quite nicely.

Well, there's not much that can be said about this fragrance. I mean, he smells nice like roses, but that's it again. Every now and then one smells a bit harsh, but this is also covered later more by the sweet and above all by the rosy notes.

But the roses smell very natural, you don't smell anything synthetic, but also nothing spectacular. It is only suitable for use in leisure time (but as always it is only my opinion...), especially in spring and winter. Because for going out he is not wonderful enough, as I said, and above all not strong enough.

Even if Rosewater is not bad, there are much better scents from this crab tree brand... he he he, I just like the brand name "Crabtree & Evelyn". Anyway, rose lovers could still take a look, but they shouldn't have too high expectations.

There's an eau fraiche version of the scent, by the way... is it any looser? Would be stupid, because then you could hardly smell anything...

See you guys later. Have a good night. And take good care of yourselves, the weather seems to be freezing cold, so that you can catch a cold quickly *cough cough*, which is quite unpleasant..

Roses and Violets
Crabtree: so British. The brand puts out famously-delicious scents and bath products. I could not do without their creams and scented drawer papers. One of my favorite scents in Rosewater. It is a clean and fresh rose tempered by just the right hint of violet. There are other notes there that blend beautifully but I cannot isolate them. This is one of the best perfumes I've ever smelled and is easy to wear. One can even spray the linens with it. Highly recommended for rose lovers and even those who have not found a rose they could love yet.
