Comforting veil of cotton
Johnson’s baby shampoo with a heavy dose of suede. I like it and find it very comforting. Wear it mostly to doctor appointments or running to the grocery store. Classy vibes while I’m stuck doing mundane tasks. A beige fragrance, but not muted and boring. Soft and clean with a bit of depth and musk that would land somewhere right in the mild of clean and animalic. I get why this has stood the test of time. Feels classic without being dated. It could easily be relabeled under a niche brand with some random name like suede sun-fall and would be an instant hit.
The suede does dry down to a beautiful soft sandalwood after about twenty minutes and it develops a creamier texture. The florals never really jump out but add a feminine edge. However, I actually feel like a confident man could rock the heck out of this.
Longevity is hard to tell because I go nose blind pretty quick but I can still feel an aura of it hours later, catching hints as I move about. Scent bubble is honestly what you make it, 4-6 sprays and I feel you have a decent cloud wafting around you, like a veil of cotton.
