Hello hello and welcome to a new comment from me. Today I'm here with a DKNY fragrance and I must say, I didn't even know that there are DKNY scents that don't come in those apple bottles. Yes yes, just laugh, I have only seen the apple bottles in various colors or those thin, stick-shaped bottles in the city, but I had never seen such a great one like this Liquid Cashmere Black!
Otherwise, I would have definitely tested these Cashmere scents much earlier, as the bottles really catch the eye. Maybe I just didn't see these fragrances earlier because I was a bit shyer about testing women's fragrances among women, as you know, now it's somewhat manageable and I only disappear when too many ladies are present :D
So, Cashmere then. Wow, there are quite a few flankers in this line. Let's see how a Cashmere scent smells. When I think of Cashmere, I always imagine something very soft and fluffy, like my cat :) He looks even fluffier right now because he is sleeping in a very soft bed, and he's been doing that for quite a while since the poor thing has caught a cold. He is still cute, even when he accidentally sneezes in my face, which was quite disgusting… yuck! :DD
The scent:
The scent starts with strong cherry, rose, and raspberry. The fragrance is lovely, even though I find the subsequently emerging patchouli a bit of an acquired taste, as patchouli seems somewhat out of place for me in scents that are not only fruity-sweet but also powdery-soft.
The jasmine adds a nice sweetness that pairs very well with the mentioned fruits. The iris makes the scent powderier and softer as described. Heliotrope takes its time to come through, but gradually reveals its sweet scent with almond notes.
The patchouli weakens in the further development of the scent, which I find quite good, as the fragrance begins to smell much better without this earthy note. Although the fruity notes also gradually fade away from the heart note, a chocolatey and gourmand note comes in with the praline, which smells delicious :)
Later, the scent remains primarily sweet and gourmand. Occasionally, the sweet notes smell a bit like tonka bean to me. The cherry can still be smelled for a while, but unfortunately only if you sniff the sprayed area extensively; otherwise, you will only perceive the mentioned sweet scents, which, however, is also very nice due to the soft and powdery notes! All in all, not a groundbreaking fragrance, but a solid and beautiful one!
The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is good; this perfume radiates a larger scent cloud, and I think you can be well perceived even at somewhat greater distances. The longevity is quite good, lasting over ten hours.
The bottle:
The bottle has a beautiful, curved shape and a great color gradient from black tint to clear glass (or a light beige tone). The cap fits the shape of the bottle, making both look like a unit. There doesn't seem to be a label, which is good since it would have disturbed the form of the bottle in my opinion. Overall, a very beautiful bottle.
Oh yes. I find this scent very successful. It smells sweet and gourmand with fruity notes, which, however, only smell stronger in the top notes and then gradually lose their intensity. That's a bit of a shame since the cherry smells very nice at the beginning, but it doesn't matter since the rest of the scent development is also very beautiful.
It is one of those fragrances that you've probably smelled often enough, but it belongs to the well-made scents of its kind and is especially great for the evening or going out in autumn, as it feels feminine and delicious (don't worry, I won't keep raving about delicious, sweet, sexy, etc… even though all of this is TOTALLY TRUE!!! :D). The patchouli bothers me a bit at the beginning, but as I said, it's only briefly noticeable at the start and then fades more into the background.
And as expected, this scent is also soft and powdery, comparable to a fluffy cat fur or delicate, soft women's skin :))
Yes, it's definitely worth a test!
That’s it for now, so see you next time! Have a nice evening :)
