Youth Fragrance...
It’s the year 2014, I’m with Dad in the drugstore (at that time caught up in the big football fever) just to run a few errands. There it is, the Instinct Edt by David Beckham. I absolutely wanted this fragrance, as I was, like I said, in the big football fever and had seen the movie "Kick It Like Beckham" and from then on became a big Beckham fan.
Well, now about the scent. Back then, the fragrance (Edt) was something very special for me, for which I even received my first compliment :)
At some point, it ran out and I forgot about it, as I was no longer the biggest football fan and started wearing sweeter scents.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a video by Pleite wegen Düfte, where he tested drugstore fragrances, including David Beckham Instinct. This video brought back many memories of the scent. So I quickly went to DM and bought the Instinct (now only available as EDP) blind. What can I say, it takes me back to another time. It’s fresh, citrusy, but also somehow warm at the same time. Today I would say it’s a nice classic men’s fragrance for men in their mid/late 20s. For the price, a clear recommendation!
