Sweet green citrus
Quite an enchanting, refreshing and simplistic fragrance which will certainly appeal to a wide audience I am sure.

The grapefruit is quite strong, yet not repulsive or cheap smelling. This fragrance is sophisticated, feminine and charming.

Miss Dior Cherie L'eau is bright, revitalising, fresh and Summery, it is absolutely bursting with life. The scent is also quite light and airy so I doubt that this fragrance would ever offend.

This fragrance has a certain girlishness about it, it speaks youth to me. Hence I'd most likely recommend this fragrance to younger consumers. The lasting power is average, roughly 3-4 hours, which I'm not bitterly disappointed over. I'd see no harm in reapplying during the day.

The Scent of My Dishwasher Mid-Cycle
This "special" summertime limited edition tweaks its namesake by making it—surprise!—into a synthetic floral-aquatic perfume! I'm not much for aquatic frags in the first place, so it's not that surprising that I prefer both of this fragrance's predecessors and namesakes (MISS DIOR CHERIE and MISS DIOR) to this yuck festival. Sure there's no popcorn or caramel here, and some may regard that as an improvement. I, however, prefer those notes to dishwasher detergent.

Although the brief floral opening of MISS DIOR CHERIE L'EAU seems potentially promising, the synthetic floral aquatic amalgam—which has somewhat of a drowned lotus or bloated water-lily feeling—ends up making me feel a bit seasick. Yes, the dreaded "abstract florals" strike once again. Honestly, the overall effect is not unlike the "fragrance" created through opening my dishwasher mid-cycle.

I was thinking about complaining about the niggardly one-third-full sample spray vial that I was given of this scent (at the S place), but having now worn it, I realize that any more would have stayed in the vial anyway. Désolée.

The Frenchman and I
We had a wonderful time together. Against all the odds of the world. He was old - I was very young. A beginner. He took me in. With him, I could try everything - even the worst mistakes he forgave me.

We had so much fun together. He accompanied me everywhere. It was one of the happiest times of my life - joyfully, casually, and carefree I enjoyed my young life.

This is exactly how this fragrance is. It symbolizes for me the spring and the beginning of summer. At that time (in a figurative sense) I was exactly in that phase of life - the scent reflects that cheerful mood very well.

At some point, it was time to say goodbye. He became too old. My little Peugeot could no longer manage - but I will never forget the time I had with him.

Give me an L'Ö!
At some point last year, a hotshot promoter in a department store approached me with the words "Do you know the new Miss Dior Chérie L'Ö?" (neither a mishearing nor a slip of the tongue, she said it several times loud and clear).

Since then, I immediately feel good whenever I think of this fragrance, see it, read about it, or smell it. The funny "L'Ö" is the icing on the cake of this wonderful perfume, which smells so sparkling, cheerful, fresh, and delicious. No, the L'Ö has nothing to do with the squeaky-sweet original Miss Dior Chérie as a verbal offshoot. This here is pure refreshment, but at a high level. Because amidst all the citrusy fruitiness, a depth, a vastness, a three-dimensionality, and almost a kind of darkness immediately accompany the cheerful orange-green opening, triggered by the bitterness of the bitter orange. This note prevents this perfume from coming off like an Eau (Ö) de Cologne and presenting itself as "just" fresh and light. Instead, I smell confidence, ambition, and elegance here - an adult fragrance wrapped in lightheartedness.

Cheerful, delicious, beautiful - wish list!

Gone and away!
No, the title does not refer to the longevity of the perfume! It is quite average in that regard. No, it refers to my excitement when I first sprayed the scent - in spring 2009 in a duty-free shop on my way to an internal company meeting. I immediately fell in love with this perfume and spent a few bonus miles on it. A colleague, who was sniffing at my wrists and the bottle, said: "Oh yes, we need to get this RIGHT AWAY!"
At first, I was a bit skeptical! My best friend used to love the original "Miss Dior Cherie." The version back then had a note that gave me a bit of a headache, probably the popcorn note.

However, the L'Eau variant smells completely different! The bitter orange provides a fruity, slightly tart freshness that I have not encountered in such a successful form in any other perfume. The gardenias hold back subtly but add just the right amount of floral notes. For me, this perfume belongs in spring, but it would surely work well in summer too.

This beautiful scent is only occasionally available online at high prices. My 30ml bottle is already half empty... Out of curiosity, I blindly ordered a dupe mentioned here: "Flirty Edition Printemps." My impression: in the first 15 minutes, there is indeed a fairly high similarity, but then FEP quickly fades. Additionally, the cap is of rather cheap quality. Well, it's nice for refreshing during long car rides, but right before the meeting, make sure to spray the original!

Delightfully fresh floral scent with a delicate powder note. A fairy in a perfume! Thank goodness I intuitively bought the large bottle back then...

Fresh floral scent, with the bitter orange coming through
Unfortunately a bit too bitter for me (even in summer), so not for me

Light fresh-green gardenia blossoms, perfect for summer. The musk makes it beautifully creamy in the base. Unfortunately discontinued.
