Soul - A Tribute to Perfection
When I picked up MGO's tribute from the sample box and sprayed it on, I immediately forgot that there is also an Amouage scent as Attar with which this treasure shares its name.
At first, dark leather spoils me. Leather so black it absorbs all the light. But it is not the leather alone that sounds so dark, it is above all the liaison with incense that clearly marks its territory in the first 5 minutes. And then. Suddenly everything gets warm and wonderful.
The leather forgets over the next hour that it might have wanted to be a wonderful luxury car seat. Or a distinctive jacket. But scatters the memory of a noble leather shop. Bags and shoes. Finest skins. Processed. To perfection.
Now dark brown, it makes more and more room for tobacco. This one is slightly whipped and so on the twelve that I quickly forget that I am writing about a scent here. He triggers pretty much everything in me.
Makes me satisfied and positively excited at the same time. It gives rest and activates..
For this tobacco (Absolut) will now work out for another three hours a radiance of golden yellow tobacco that I have never experienced before. Who breathes in the heat. The air gets pregnant without getting smoky. Who produces all the fermented scents. From green to golden yellow ... to light brown.
And it is precisely this light brown tobacco and its addictive, sweet spice that Patchouli now joins from the fourth hour onwards. First spicy. And slightly moistening, it gives the tobacco another surface. Leave him his ascent and descent before he mixes more and more with him in earthy tones.
In all this brown-black poem of a fragrance, I simply recognize perfection. Yes, there are green notes and also wood every now and then. But the protagonists are good leather, fine tobacco and earthy patch.
Together they are for me the epitome of all chords, which I look for in fragrances, rarely find and still more rarely love can. Often the other creations are soulless.
I pay my tribute to this fragrance.
Not only because of the name.
He has soul.
