Doesn't bother the nose
Surprisingly fruity opening, I didn't expect that from a 5th Avenue.
But quite quickly we arrive at the flowers, and unfortunately it gets a bit soapy there. A glance at the fragrance pyramid and my eye lingers on the Usambara violet. Violets in all their variations have caught my eye in fragrance pyramids lately and have never been particularly pleasant. So I attribute this slight soapiness to it.
However, I like the other flowers, and they embrace the violet so that it doesn't stand out too much.
By the way, the fruits completely disappear after a brief appearance in the top note. At least my nose no longer perceives anything fruity.
After about half an hour, a creaminess joins the flowers. And I can already perceive the patchouli now. Slowly, the scent bends into a slightly woody-floral-creamy direction.
Overall, I must say that the scent changes very quickly and seems to reach the base incredibly fast. The longevity is okay overall, but by no means outstanding.
Although floral scents are not among my favorites, I must acknowledge that the fragrance is quite good. It certainly won't be one of my favorites, but it doesn't annoy me, and I wouldn't have a problem if someone wore it near me.
