You told us before. Absolu-tly.
Reminds me of "Gucci Guilty". At least it's better than the regular "Untold" scent, but still a generic fruity floral. The narcissus in this adds to the freshness you perceive in the first minutes, while the omnipresent ambroxan/cashmeran is there for the obligatory woody drydown. Absolu-tly uninventive. A boring narrative. Beautiful perfume vessel, though.

Beautiful
Sure, it's not groundbreaking stuff, but I don't find it boring. It stands out from the pale, watery fruity florals and the cloying candy-sweet fragrances on the shelves. Untold Absolu has a deep, warm balsamic sweetness balanced by some sparkling notes. It is mature and elegant and I think it smells as beautiful as it looks.

Not As Expected
I have had UA on my radar for a few years now after reading many glowing reviews of it. EA discontinued it, and then it was relaunched just a couple of years or so ago. Sellers were asking exorbitant prices for it, so I eventually bought a bottle of the relaunched fragrance. I never knew the first iteration, so I cannot compare the two, but my bottle corresponds to the listed notes. Whether or not it differs vastly from the first iteration, I cannot say.

I was very keen to try it for the first time after my bath tonight. Whilst it does not smell bad, it certainly is not the decadent, luxurious fragrance I expected. It is quite darkly fruity. I do not say this to be unkind, but as a matter of fact, it smells like a cheapie. Reminds me slightly of Queen Latifah's Queen. It has a slight booziness to it. I do not dislike it, but I am not wild about it either. I could see myself reaching for it on a cold Winter's day. It does have a warmth about it.

In general, I think it is most appropriate for cooler weather. UA could be unisex depending on who's wearing it. I will update this review after I get to know the perfume better, but at the moment I would say the performance is moderate. It is not a bad perfume by any means, but it smells like an inexpensive celebrity scent. Mind you, this is only my first wearing, so my opinion may change over time. It sometimes does change over time. If it does, I will update this review.

The Absolute Breath
With an even greater variety of different notes that are supposed to be contained in a fragrance, I sometimes catch myself wondering what I can actually sniff out and what gets lost in the blend. Here, quite a bit is listed again, and yet I dare to attempt a description. I actually became aware of the EdP from Untold, but soon lost interest after studying the pyramid. For me, there are simply too many ingredients that I have smelled elsewhere or that are bundled in my bathroom. The Absolu reads more interesting to me, and with so many Absolu notes listed here and there, I was sure that I absolutely had to test it now in winter.
The opening is indeed plum-raspberry, a very delicious compote, finely balanced, not too sweet, with a splash of citrus spiciness from ginger and, fortunately for me, a soft bergamot. A very harmonious interplay that already transforms softer on the skin than on fabric. Here, the scent comes across a bit "sharper." UA lingers for a moment before the Absolue notes are stirred in with a big ladle. And I now perceive them as a unit. An amber-colored, viscous, syrupy, and very finely tuned sauce that is now poured over the fruit dish from the beginning. Red turns to Bordeaux, black becomes deep black. The liquid slowly flows over the mass and covers it with a noble shine. What previously carried a hint of playfulness now becomes more mature and serious. UA could be the epitome of Absolu, so resinous, balsamic, and sweet it is. If it were a drink, one could probably leave the spoon standing upright in it. It is heavily sweet, sometimes exhaustingly sweet, perhaps overwhelmingly sweet for some, so sweet that it almost makes your nose hairs stick together and the scent impressions cling to the brain. This Arden really shoves the Absolu shell right in your face, escape is futile. And yet, it has something about it that makes it attractive again. It is this deliciousness, the knowledge that the existing notes have been added in their absolutely profound properties, bringing their innermost essence to the surface of the fragrance. More simply cannot be done. It is exactly the Absolu it must be. Warm, strong, and almost supernatural notes that, despite their sweetness, appear elegant. UA is a candidate for winter when it is really cold. Then its severity, through the Absolu aromas, will guide its wearer through wind and weather, as if it were laying a safe path that she only needs to follow. UA is not just a cuddler; it is more, because it gives more. Where others offer the lady fabric, it lays fur on her shoulders to keep her warm. It is simply more of everything, sometimes too much, but never too little. The dosage should be considered accordingly; otherwise, the richly sweet notes will suffocate themselves. The longevity should rather be called adhesion, and it is only very reluctantly moved to depart when one has had enough. This fragrance creature is loud, captivating, and strong in character. It will stay as long as it likes... or until it runs out of the absolute breath.

Very helpful Review 16
some things are better left unsaid
Today I am plagued by a headache and general malaise - in short - I'm feeling down.

Then the Untold absolute smiles at me gently - and I must say, even the golden packaging and the equally golden heart bottle appeal to me - without words.

The scent is full and soft - and I want to sink into it, like into a Hilton King Size bed, where you can hardly find yourself again.

Untold is generous as well, for it does not skimp on ingredients.
Musky plum, mild ginger, and delicious raspberry make for an inviting entrance.
The rose water flows transparently over my skin - and the absolutes of jasmine and narcissus provide a soothing heaviness.
Tonka and vanilla are pleasantly rounded - and one luxuriates comfortably in Hilton's upscale hotel.

Nevertheless, the scent does not say much, for its attitude is eloquent enough.
It creates a cozy elegant atmosphere - that speaks for itself.

Untold - words destroy where they do not belong.

Fine woods nibble on thickly cooked fruit.
Elegant flowers make it bubble nicely.
Cozy, caressing scent

Elegant and sensual at the same time, warming yet distinctive scent notes. And despite a wealth of aromas - strangely arranged! Interesting!

Distinct, strong; on me it smells like Midnight Poison; I think the scent is underrated; if you like sensual fragrances, it's worth a try!

Once again proof that I love plum in fragrances - but don't like to eat it. A sensual scent with a hint of oriental.

Great autumn/winter gourmand with a slight oriental touch
Unfortunately poor longevity, it’s gone after about 3 hours....

Strangely reminds me of Le Bain, with a warmer finish. A very beautiful and sensual scent that lasts a long time.

Really a dream of a scent! Plum-raspberry compote with a vanilla and tonka top and fresh ginger that adds a bit of spice.

At first, it disguises itself as the stronger sister of the EdPs, but unfortunately, it turns into a candidate for a piercing headache on me. It feels like it lasts forever.
