The Musc Essential Parfums 2025 Extrait de Parfum

This stuff is THE perfect clean white musk. Clean and well blended. Not screechy and cloying like many others.
While the notes mention honey, cinnamon, and ginger there is no food like sweetness. It's sweet like a fresh indolic flower. It does come off a tad synthetic but I quite like synthetic aromas when they are well blended. Especially this flavor of clean aesthetic.

It's hard to pick out one note. A chord of aromatic, woody, powdery, and earthy. This is how I image luxury hotel linens smell (I'm too poor to actually know).

Extreamly versatile, could be worn anywhere, any time, any season. Dressed up or casual. Office or tinder hookup.

I see a lot of opinions saying it does not last. I don't understand how. It has lasted me over 8 hours and still trucking with a moderate sillage. Not quite a skin scent. subtle and strong at the same time.

When I first applied The Musc Extrait behind both ears, I was accompanied by a powerful, musk-heavy aura that admittedly projected quite assertively.

Unfortunately, the problem lies with the spray nozzle, where a small dosage is hardly possible. Therefore, I applied one spray on my wrist and distributed it over my arms and neck with the other wrist - perfect. This way, it was unobtrusive yet still well noticeable.

In contrast to The Musc EDP, the Extrait is denser, creamier, and more contrasting due to cinnamon and subtle vetiver. It smells like the warm scent of intimate skin: creamy, slightly spicy, subtly sweet, and sensual. It is less fresh, light, and powdery than the EDP.

Longevity and sillage are really strong.
