Royal Jungle Cat
ROYAL PAVILLON is a sultry, erotic scent, a perfect choice for "night out". Do not be fooled by the first glue-odor, it is only the alcohol, just let it evaporate. 1 minute later you get a sweet mass of flowers: green jasmine and ylang-ylang (together smells like lilly of the valley) and one of the best lushy rose. Cibet gives an animalic sound to the orchestra, it is slightly resinous and luscious as a stretching big cat.
This wild and sweet exuberancy hides a smack of salty spice beyond the flowers, that plays the leading part at the base. This perfume was dedicated to the paradise, "to speak the myriad secrets of the language of flowers" - as it is written on Etro homepage. So I was surprised that all of the flowers disappeared and a jarring, excellent metallic scent calmed down my unrestful nose. Night came, flowers closed up, time of weapons reaches the royal garden. Or maybe it is an allegory of the winter.
