Armonías die 1.
After receiving this amazing package with Fueguia 1833 samples yesterday, I first took some time to explore and ultimately decided to test according to the attached list. Thus, the first four fragrances were four Armonías scents, starting with the first one, Agua de Gardenia.
I set the pyramid aside for now; I wanted to form my own impression and came to the following conclusion:
The scent starts quite green, herbal, and somewhat unfinished, then becomes aquatic and smells strongly of fresh mushrooms. It’s as if you are just cleaning and chopping fresh mushrooms. This lasts for about 40 minutes before gradually fading and transitioning into a very flat floral note. It stays like that. The fragrance hasn’t even brushed past a gardenia bush.
As much as I admire Juan Manuel, I am equally disappointed by Agua de Gardenia. So, on to the next Armonías - which, by the way, means harmonies.
