Dark deep rose

Hmmm i really don't know what to think about this one. Its reminds me of Amouage lyric men. At the beginning So dark and heavy rose and later it becomes little bit like lokum(turkish fruit) kind a smell. I think this is very nice one for the winter when you go out, it has something oriëntaals in it like the smell of a Arabic market so if you like Lokum smell and or very heavy rose. Than go for it.

Perfume 2016 floral oriental citrus, rose, vanilla sensual and warm. Ideal for cooler days and special occasions

I find it fascinating how differently scents are perceived. For me, the rose in this perfume is presented in a very beautiful, soft, creamy way - less fresh, but warm and velvety. Perhaps that is exactly what makes the fragrance so beautifully warm for me, with intense notes of citrus fruits, roses, and vanilla. Sweet, spicy, and slightly woody.

Gourmand-Vanilla-Cookie Fragrance

I do not like gourmand fragrances and I have my difficulties with vanilla. I only like it when it rounds off the base of fragrances in a certain, very well-integrated way, giving them softness and depth. I have resolved not to write comments on fragrances for which I have no access to the main components, as I simply do not find that fair.

Therefore, I would never write a comment on an oud fragrance. I often read with slight discomfort comments on fragrances with neroli or orange blossom, where people complain about the piercing note and the association with 4711. But this is just a side note.

So why am I still writing about Cicuta? Because I imagined it completely differently based on the fragrance pyramid and ordered it blindly as a sharing decant in joyful anticipation. Thanks again to the organizer!

Cicuta is certainly an absolutely high-quality fragrance, but it does not develop on my skin in a complex or multifaceted way and only undergoes minimal development.
The hoped-for citrus opening is unfortunately completely skipped on me, and I cannot detect the spicy, herbal notes of coriander and borage that I was so looking forward to. Through a minimal rose note, I land directly in the gourmand territory, where a slightly bitter caramel note joins the vanilla, reminding me of a somewhat overcooked vanilla cookie. Additionally, there is a slightly dusty-dry paper smell (which I also notice in the base of "Mirabilis," which I overall like much better).
That's it. An elegant cuddler - yes. But my expectation/hope was different. Not a big deal, that’s just how it goes, that’s what makes the world of perfume so exciting.

Very potent red roses - sweet and dark at the beginning. Later, some green stems appear. I love the dry-down; it smells like an antique shop.
