A warm, sweet, balsamic scent
Teia is a beautiful fragrance.
There's not much negative to say about it. I wouldn't wear it regularly, as it doesn't quite match my personal taste, but I still have to say that it is simply solid and well-made.
The scent starts off sweet, creamy, and warm. At the beginning, it also has spicy notes and possesses a balsamic quality.
The amber accord is known for its balsamic and warm effect. That's exactly what we have here. Amber is listed in the top notes, but it is actually a base note.
It is listed in the top because it is probably so intense that you can smell it right from the start, and that is indeed the case.
I can also already sense the vanilla in the background.
As time goes on, this warm, balsamic character remains, and the vanilla gains intensity. The spiciness present from the beginning diminishes a bit. A gentle veil of incense envelops the fragrance, but really subtly!
Towards the end, the musk comes through nicely, along with the creamy sandalwood.
