How About a Hawaiian Punch?
This fruity fresh floral smells exactly like the bright red artificially flavored fruit punch 'Hawaiian Punch', somewhat similar to Red Fruit Punch Kool-Aid. It is not bad, in its ability to transport me back to the summer of 1977, the backyard, kids and lots of high fructose corn-syrup drinks in the sunshine. It is saved from being totally unwearable by the fact that it is quite sheer and not overly cloying. I couldn't detect the woodiness or level of muskiness that gave the original Rush its naughty reputation as a 'party girl scent'. This is a warm weather frozen white rum punch with juicy non-descript red berries projecting a fruity-tooty youthful splash, strictly for poolside parties and be prepared to be attacked by ants and bees, for sure. While I enjoyed the sniffing experience, I knew almost immediately that I, personally, didn't want to smell like a kid's beverage drink. I also suspect that there is something identical to this available for a fraction of the price in the Demeter Fragrance Library's Tropical Drink Scent section.
