Wildflowers for the office
A soft, powdery fruity floral that feels a bit dry in texture. I can mainly smell rose and iris here, and I think the iris is responsible for the dry note. The fruity note should be mango according to the notes list, but I don't know about that. It could be anything. Just a hint of juicy sweetness to lift the fragrance, no realistic interpretation of any fruit I know of.
Altogether I get a wildflower vibe from this. It makes me think of a meadow with different small flowers blooming in the sun, not of a big bouquet. I don't mean that Florabloom smells more natural than other floral perfumes, it's actually a clean, "perfumey" scent, that's just the image that comes to my mind when I smell it.
Even though I know nothing that smells exactly like this, I find it weirdly unexciting. I think it's because the notes are too blended and muddled, not defined enough. A floral bouquet of rose, tuberose and iris with some tropical mango and moss in the mix sounds interesting, but the end result is less than the sum of its parts. It sits right in the boring corner between fruity and floral, it's neither truly here nor there. Maybe it would make a fruity office scent. It's pleasant and inoffensive and has a light fruity sweetness, but not enough to make some judgemental, stuffy coworker think that it smells too much like a vacation cocktail. I don't think anyone should care about the opinion of that kind of person anyways, so this is more of a theoretical thought.
In conclusion, this is an alright spring/summer fragrance, but it doesn't wow me. There are better Aqua Allegorias.
