Complex Weed Scent

Phew, this is an interesting one. It's a very complex fragrance, and by far the most expensive one in my collection, though I don't really know if it was worth the high cost for me. The bottle is quite ugly and cheap looking actually. It starts out with a strong saffron note, and the cannabis is already hanging out in the background, waiting for it's turn to shine. You then get a very sweet kind of weedy scent, not skunky, probably from the dates. It dries down to your typical oud-y woody middle-eastern type fragrance. Definitely a more challenging scent that you have to be in the mood for.

Intoxicating green spicy sweethness

Exotic yet inviting.
Difficult, but charming.

The Great Way is addictive. Black Afgano has a special place in my heart, the first encounter with its intoxicating beauty is difficult to forget. Great Way brought me back to that moment. But there's more richness and sticky sweetness here. Dates!

There is indeed something of the mystical richness of the Middle East here that is not easy to digest. Of course - spices (cardamom, saffron, ginger) are dominant in Great Way.
This scent also needs a richer context, with minimalist everyday clothes it can have an alienating toxic effect.

Great Way is the more exotic brother/sister of Black Afgano. It´s elegant, deep and rich and makes you looke like one when wearing it ;)

Tried it the first time and recognised Black Afgano. Tried it the second time and heard Black Afgano. I don't know why, but for me, these two fragrances are like twins. It starts with saffron and cardamom, but they fade out pretty quickly, and then I hear mostly a note of cannabis with a little touch of magnolia in the background. I like it and would wear it, but my bottle of Black Afgano is still unfinished.
