Where are you?
I picked up a sample of the fragrance here in the souk because the scent pyramid sounded really interesting. The bottle is beautiful and captivated me. I hoped the fragrance would captivate me too.
Unfortunately, it has something pungent right from the opening. And I don't mean the alcohol. Something herbaceous, almost musty, comes through. But after the first half hour, the unpleasant herbaceousness was gone and something clean and freshly washed came through.
At least for a few seconds. After that, I hardly noticed it anymore. Which I thought was a shame. Because it became softer in the drydown. But then it was immediately gone. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long for the price. And that really hurts to say. But it didn't convince me.
