Familiar

Familiar would fit with the smell already very much..he produces somehow
an intimate aura, also somehow erotic-sensual.
The concentrated fruit power at the beginning, smelling mainly of currants, makes for a good mood and a first wow! Almost reflexively I have to think of Aqaysos, even without the concentrated musk, which I would like very much with Aqaysos. No fruit tea, no chewy sweets or fruit yoghurt, but very dark, highly aromatic, firm and very dense.
Dark spices, slightly sweet and a hint of spiciness provide a well-dosed balance. Even if the slight basic sweetness of Irreverent seems familiar to me and my skepticism awakes with three (basically) fragrances published at the same time, it can still score fully. I believe that
is mainly due to the fact that the suede leather is a very mature sweetness and above all spice, suede from YSL not dissimilar. The discreet and very light Animali suits him perfectly!
Only late in the base dry woods show up to me, which enriches the fragrance by another new facet, so the nose cannot become tired of any phase. Such developments I love yes!
Sometimes the dark sides of prolixes remind me of oud, but I think it's no inside, not important.
For me by far the most beautiful fragrance of the three new ones, one of the most beautiful and above all most extraordinary fragrances of Histoires ever.
Durability and Sillage are superb, the index finger should be under control, otherwise you might destroy the fragrance experience and/or get too much. This scent fits wonderfully into the cool seasons and rather for the evening.

Temptation
Everything I can resist, only the temptation not (Oscar Wilde)
.
And it was worth a try. Black bottle and then 2 contradictory words: confidential and lengthy. Very lovely. I already had to scratch my head, because the two words for me are already somewhat contradictory. Maybe not at all and they fit together like a fist on the eye.
The start of "En Aparté - Prolixe" is violently sour, bitter and sweet-spicy. It almost shakes me, but it makes my eyes sparkle. Like sherbet powder that you sprinkle on your tongue, close your mouth and let foam in your mouth. Fruity and sour, delicious! Just don't cough or breathe so it doesn't get in your nose, or... wow, wow, wow. Grapefruit you dip in sugar and bite off. This taste of bitter and sweet is indescribable. Currants are sour-fruity. My black currants in the garden are still quite sour, although they are already strong black, but still quite crunchy. The fruits of the top note all have the same beginning. Sour-spritty and becoming sweet. Sweet is not a case of such a fruit-sweet as in LVeB, for example, but just like from fruits that are not yet fully ripe.
Unfortunately, this circus won't last long and it'll be quiet. The sourish one says goodbye, but smells like it for a long time to come. Just not as strong as at the beginning.
A linen bag full of green, fresh cardamom, tender saffron threads and freshly plucked orange blossoms, which rub together in the bag and smell wonderfully of spice bazaar, give my nose an almost balsamic kick. Irritated nasal mucous membranes are soothed, almost caressed. And then it gets dark. Patchouli and Labdanum together smell like sweet earth spread out on a wooden table.
A coarse leather cloth used to wipe everything off the table. Fragrances that somehow do not fit together at all and then again so beautifully. Yes, this scent is confidential, just for me or my neighbor. Long drawn-out due to the many fragrances, about which one could surely report one or the other.
A temptation was worth it and is only to be recommended.

Rambling?
Nah, not really.

Durability & Silage are ok to good but also no more.
"Stimulating" would have been a better title, because that's exactly how the fragrance works for me.

Fruity, slightly sweet and refreshing. Every puff of this fragrance creates free space in my head. A very liberating and vitalizing feeling.

The fragrance comes rather linear and hardly changes. Initially rather fruit cocktail, then rather rose & Oud.

The fruits are hard to identify. After some comments speak of currant I can make an association. From alone I would have my dear not to smell so.

When the freshness of the top notes wears off, a lovely, slightly fruity rose takes over. In the background increasingly out / light tobacco present. These push themselves but never penetrating into the foreground.

Shortly after application, the silage is actually present on 3m. This is then but soon and the scent is increasingly body closer. I find this very pleasant with Prolixe. Someone else described the scent as "intimate". So far I would not go now, but I can understand the description quite.

The durability is enormous, even if not a booming fragrance. Body close I had loose 7-8h and the clothes smell the next day still like freshly sprayed. Mmmm fresh and stimulating without reminding of detergent freshness or room fragrance - I Like!

What I like less is the price point. I can absolutely not understand for a fragrance that is just "ok to good". Should the times in the sale appear I would acquire him possibly even as "nice to have"
acquire. In my perception rather what for days on which I like to feel good and less to impress others.

Prolixe was also well received by my better half. But even here came the feedback that there are other "must buys".

Testing is worthwhile in any case and so far I am very fond of Histoires des Parfums and the next sample is already on the way ;)

Confusing Prolix
I decided on Prolixe because it had the notes of tobacco and oud, but the reality was a somewhat fruity start between pink and purple and a dark and seductive evolution. Complex and confusing is not easy to like at first sight.
Prolixe is something dark, like a shadow that appears and disappears throughout use. It is developed flat in two stages: opening and drydown.
Can detect the notes as hint of saffron, cardamom, olibanum, rose and oud with tobacco.
Opening with ginger, olibanum and deep rose. The rose will be present until the end, fading little by little to make way for patchouli and tobacco and oud.
It lasts a long time on my skin... but a long time. More than 8 hours in my skin. This projects very well.
I don't think it's unisex...but in my girlfriend I would like to smell it.
Fabulous fragrance but too expensive.

Purple velvet
On my skin at no time would I have said that it contains fruits. It smells like purple velvet, some kind of fabric that glides if that makes sense. The saffron (like the toaste saffron) gives it a floral touch without exaggeration that it blends very well with the patchouli and the woods, givint it a hidden lunar side. It is a persistent, long-lasting fragrance that does not change much throughout its life. I find it very feminine, but maybe it reminds me of someone. Obviously anyone can use it.
