lively
Recently, my cousin came to visit - an event that always brings me joy.

Not only does she bring "life to the party" with her exuberant temperament, but she also always has a surprise for her "little one."

This time it was Iceberg Effusion.
And this fragrance is as lively as she is.
As a child, she always had wild ideas that I gladly indulged.

And the scent has energy too.
With enthusiasm, grapefruit, kiwi, and peach greet me - tart and sweet.
Cardamom is spicy, softened by the lovely violet.
The cedar wafts above, surrounded by light vanilla.

Effusion is adventurous and calls: Off to distant lands!
I can't help but smile, remembering how my cousin always stirred me from my reading chair and lured me outside.
And the fragrance has something invigorating about it.
Not for homebodies.

The large bottle is somewhat unwieldy, but the 30ml version might be different.
In any case, my nose gets along well with it.

The generous giver has left a piece of herself with me in this scent - and I like that.

Delightfully fresh-spicy companion for winter....
I bought it blind and quite cheaply, and my expectations weren't too high, for whatever reason. However, I love the Iceberg label and somehow still had faith that it wouldn't be a completely terrible washwater.... And what can I say: it is very fine and truly beautiful! At the beginning, I am immediately delighted by the blend of fruity-bitter fruits (I can clearly catch peach and grapefruit), not a trace of sweetness or even overwhelming...but fresh, bright, spicy-peppery - I think that's the signature of cardamom. The top note is full of vigor, energy, and joy of life.....over time, a deeper spiciness with a hint of powderiness emerges, I believe that is due to the nutmeg. At this point, the fragrance takes on something unique, unmistakable...it becomes heavier, more self-assured, and also a touch more refined. By the way, I think it could also be well worn by men. In the dry down, which unfortunately doesn't last too long - this may be the only downside of Effusion - the guaiac wood gently caresses me and my nose, hand in hand with a vanillic cedar, while musk only softly resonates. I simply like it, and for me, it belongs in the category of fragrances that help you through the nasty autumn and winter; when I wear it, it feels like the sun shines right into my heart and soul!

My First Encounter with Iceberg
I received the fragrance from my grandma; unfortunately, I couldn't test it beforehand, so I took the plunge and opened it. (Otherwise, I always test the stuff first, and if I don't like it, it gets tossed.)

Upon the first spray, it smells as if you have a too-strong spice in your nose. However, that fades quickly, and a fresh scent emerges. It's really hard to categorize. Somewhat soapy, yet still very fresh. Once the initial shock wears off, the scent is quite bearable. It doesn't really smell strong; it stays in the background and doesn't quite dare to show itself. I'm not a fan of overpowering fragrances and prefer them subtle, but you should still be able to smell it.
So, the scent is initially spicy, then shy with a hint of freshness and a bit floral. Overall, a good composition, but unfortunately a bit short-lived.

I can actually say something about the bottle this time: I find it terrible. I have small hands and can barely hold the thing with one hand without fearing it will slip out of my grasp. The spray head is the worst I've ever had. If you don't press properly and at the right speed, it happens that only a drop comes out, no mist. That is incredibly annoying. Maybe 75 ml is just too much in such a seriously ridiculous format…

The longevity: Yes, where is it? I'm wearing the "hidden scent" for the second day now. You have to reapply multiple times a day to smell anything.

All in all, I find the scent okay. The longevity is terrible, the bottle is dreadful if you don't have dinner plate hands ^_^. And the spice at the beginning spoils the good mood I usually have with a fragrance. But you get used to it. I’ll manage to finish the 75 ml somehow ;-)
Addendum after almost 2 months of Iceberg:
I've at least made the bottle half-empty ;-) The scent is okay and fresh, but somehow you don't get much out of it for long. You can spray 15 times at once, and it still doesn't last longer... After two hours, it's faded so much that you can't smell it anymore.
You have to reapply multiple times a day. The advantage is that then the 75 ml will go down faster. I don't need to have the scent again. Once is more than enough.

Interesting...
For me, it smells like a mix of celery & Sprite - I wouldn't wear it every day, but it's an interesting scent for occasional use! However, I must say that I find it a bit overwhelming at first - I always spray it on my clothes beforehand and wait a bit before I actually put on the outfit :D

Very powdery, spicy floral scent with fine woody accents
This "Iceberg Effusion Woman" is a fragrance that might still be available at R...., but I received it as a gift a few years ago. Since it’s not really my scent direction, I have hardly worn "Effusion Woman," but I tested it again to provide a (as neutral as I can) comment on it. The scent starts off quite fruity and fresh, with the grapefruit especially in the foreground, slightly herb-bitter-citrusy, and quite pleasant. Fairly soon, a floral-spicy note emerges, with rose and violet being very noticeable and harmonizing quite well with the exotic spices that remain relatively subtle in the background. What I find quite remarkable is this strong powdery "after-scent," which is very clearly perceptible to me. It strongly reminds me of a fine skin cream (Crème Mousson) that was available in tubes many years ago, but is no longer produced in this form and with this scent. I always liked that scent as a child and teenager. A little later in the fragrance development (about two and a half to three hours in), woody notes come to the forefront, with a hint of vanilla, without overpowering the heart of the fragrance. And the powderiness and the cream-scent association even increase. The woods do NOT dominate the base of the perfume, but rather round it off in their own way, as if you were decorating a floral arrangement with roses and violets using very fresh sawdust that smells herbaceous and woody. Fine wood mulch in a flower bed. The fragrance composition does lose some intensity and sillage after a while, but it remains perceptible close to the skin for a longer time. I already know someone who is quite enthusiastic about "Effusion Woman," to whom I will gift it...

When summer fruits entice
and spices hide beneath
Violets shy, rose proud
There's vanilla and lots of wood-
Underneath, cheerful!

Woody-powdery, lots of grapefruit, a bit of rose - a calm scent that feels uplifting and serene to me. I enjoy wearing it!

KN: green smoothie with too much celery. HN: soft, but unfortunately the root vegetable remains stubborn. BN: unreachable, as it has already vanished.

Fruity, later creamy notes, smells quite chemical, unfortunately I can't do much with the scent. I don't perceive any spices.

For me, it's just fresh and fruity... I'm searching in vain for spice... distant resemblance to Boss Woman...

At first like licorice. Horrible. But then it develops nicely. Citrusy, fruity fresh, and slightly sweet. Wearable.
