Beautiful sweet and spicy cheapie
Time again for a cheapie. Often the cheapies I review come from Dubai. This time from Italy from the brand Iceberg. This brand makes fashion, which I find really cool and also wear or own some things. In contrast to the fashion, the perfumes are quite inexpensive and can be categorized as cheapie. The old Iceberg releases are of course much more vintage, the newer ones are of course very modern. This Change The Flow from 2022 is a modern sweet-woody fragrance that you can get for under €20. I bought the 50ml some time ago. These are worth it because you have a great sweet-woody fragrance that is very easy to wear and also doesn't offend much. Nevertheless, it already has something of its own that could go down well. I don't agree with the fragrance twins listed here, but I think this one has that Casamorati - Bouquet Ideale Eau de Parfum vibe so easily. This soft sweet wood and this warm base. I really like this direction.
The fragrance comes in a beautiful box, attractive and yet ordinary. The bottle has a cool wobble, which is something different and rather rare. It has something and is very stylish.
The fragrance has a great spiciness that is really harmonious and never too much. Saffron and ginger take over. Saffron is rather tame compared to many creations of this time with this note. This ginger spice is also totally pleasant and they harmonize very well. There is also something bitter and citrusy, here in the form of bitter orange. There is no real freshness, but it is also not really heavy due to the spiciness or sweetness. Later, a great tobacco spice is added, which already plays one of the main roles in this creation. It's not that exhausting tobacco fuss, but rather warm, spicy and absolutely pleasing. Leather rounds off this spice well and gives it a noble elegance. The base then comes with lots of wood and warm amber. The beautiful and soft woody tones start early and make the whole thing very soft. There is also a stylish sweetness that is present throughout. Very round and not overpowering. Smells classy and could be considered much more expensive. Even if it is rather masculine, this fragrance is very soft and could suit many people.
Performance is already good average. The sillage is not an attention-grabber, but quite solid and pleasant. Longevity should be around 8 hours. A great fragrance for in between, in everyday life or even higher. I see it especially before and after winter, but also in mild temperatures.
Overall, a great cheapie with very soft spice, sweetness, wood and warm notes. Definitely an option for those on a budget.
