Exhilaratingly fresh raspberry lemonade with a hint of rose. Another easy IA winner!
In Love with Everything is the most recent Imaginary Authors release (from late 2022), an exuberant blend featuring raspberry, citrus pulp, coconut palm sugar, and a sort of general rosy sandalwood blend that both keeps the perfume in focus and prevents it from being 100% a gourmand, even if it is still mostly so. It has a bit of the “summery refreshing cocktail” vibe that makes Saint Julep so alluring, albeit without the more prominent booziness of SJ. ILWE is certainly a bit denser than SJ, also, while still having a great balance of sweetness, sharpness, and freshness. ILWE is aptly named as its joy and easygoingness makes it easy to love, a mood-lifting versatile blend that feels at home in any situation or season or any wearer. It’s an easy option to recommend both as introduction to the house of Imaginary Authors and to niche/independent perfumery in general. Certainly an instant love from first sniff.

Like the rest of the line, In Love with Everything has the same excellent Imaginary Authors pricing of $95 for 50ml in EDP concentration, and it’s available in the usual points of sale like my go-to boutique, Perfumology, and the IA website itself.

Summer loving
I reallyyy love this fragrance. I'm about halfway through the discovery set and this is honestly one of the best to me.

At first spray, it's raspberry, rose and punch, with a slight citrus edge. The punch isn't exactly a Hawaiian/Hi-C fruit punch, it's more like a generic punch they serve in the big plastic bowls at school dances or church dinners.

Despite the sugar in this, it's not super noticeably sweet as it blends into the background to support the other notes really well. The sandalwood is even more subtle, ever-so-slightly providing some stiffness that further edifies the overall scent.

Altogether, the notes become a rose-infused punch to cool you down on a hot day. It all feels very bright, fun, refreshing and flirty—like a summer fling on an extended vacation that you never want to end but know that it must once August rolls around.

Over the first few hours, it gets a little punchier but then, over the latter half of the wear, the fruitiness backs down while the rose holds steady. This lasted for about ten hours on my skin.

Overall, I cannot praise this perfume enough. It's just really fun and if you enjoy fruity florals like me, this should be right up your alley. Each Imaginary Authors perfume has a note I've never tried before and the punch note in this was amazing.

Could've been an amazing fruit punch scent...
At the beginning, I get this delicious fruity punch vibe. Citrus notes are tangy and bright while raspberry is juicy and tart. I get some sugar and also an underlying carnal rose scent. It's very nostalgic if you're a kid who grew up with fruit juice pouches. It also reminded me of Fruité's fruit beverages. Unfortunately, the fragrance starts to morph into a weird dusty, woody sandalwood. A synthetic streak starts to rise up and that's when the perfume turns into a generic, synthetic mess. It smells like one of those non-descript fruity and woody candle you can get at TJMaxx. Plasticky, synthetic and juste overall not nice. As a candle, it would be fine (even though I wouldn't light one in my home), but on me it's almost repulsive.

I'm kind of sad, 'cause I remember smelling this one on a strip of paper at the beginning of my fragrance journey when I was visiting Etiket for the first time. I remember loving this fragrance and vowing to return to it. Seems my nose has evolved since then. Unfortunately, it won't be making it in my collection and I don't really see myself recommending it to anyone. Sorry!

Sickly Sweet Fruity Perfume
If 90s girl pop music had a smell, this would be it. It is heavy sweet fruit throughout the whole time. The note is supposed to be raspberry but it just smells of a generic fruit synthetic. If you are not into really sweet perfumes, it can be sickly like a fruit punch drink. There is a slight rose scent at the beginning and then it turned soapy. I wish there was more of it to help cut the sweetness. It did last a long time, about 5 hours.

In love with this fragrance
"To fall in love with everything... is to breathe life through the eyes of a child who knows no impossible." This fragrance is not just a scent, but a constant celebration of joy, of exaggeration, of life lived without brakes. Imagine a rare moment between madness and freedom, between rebellious adolescence and the ecstasy of neon colors at an old disco party.
Thus, the fragrance begins with a refreshing and childlike explosion of childhood drink soaked in sugar and dreams, followed by an outrageous presence of Eureka lemon, akin to a shiny smile on a noisy summer morning. Then, the note of burnt sugar pierces through, reminding you that you are in a drunken dream of love, and the background of this olfactory madness, wild rose whispers as if it were a shy lover amidst a never-ending dance of chaos.
All of this is tied together with a delicate thread of white musk and resin that anchors the scene to the skin, as if it were a Polaroid snapshot of an unforgettable party.
Visible ingredients:
- Tangy sweet fruit cocktail juice.
- Pink lemon
- Burnt sugar
- Wild rose
- Resins
- White musk
- A fantastical note: bright neon ribbons!
Performance and sillage:
Despite its light spirit and joyful madness, it boasts a good longevity on the skin (approximately 6–8 hours) and a moderate sillage that attracts attention without being loud, perfect for daytime, spring, and summer settings, or even for a bad mood that needs an emotional boost.
Price value:
At an average price within the niche category, it is considered a winning deal for those looking for a unique, different fragrance that resembles nothing and wants to resemble no one.
In Love with Everything is for the adventure lover, the playful rebel, for those who love life and dance even in the heart of the storm. It suits both women and men alike, especially those who are not afraid to be "more than enough."
Usage time:
During the day, parties, informal meetings, or simply... when you need to remind yourself that you are "in love with everything."
“Amor vincit omnia”
“Love conquers all.”
And nothing expresses this philosophy like this fragrance.

A citrus candy burst that feels like something an 80s rollerblader would wear skating down Venice Beach, sunshine bouncing off sunglasses.

Liked my initial sniff of the bottle better than how it dried on my skin. Ended up smelling powdery, but I love the fruit punch effect underneath.

Sugary-sweet tropical fruit punch in the opening, then citrus and sandalwood. A happy scent.
