I tried this over the weekend hoping it would be a nice addition to Power Self and Musk Therapy. I literally couldn’t smell a thing so I can’t share any notes. This house continues to confound me, especially for the price point, even the purple bottles are not a slam dunk for me, and did I mention the price point?

What a disappointment!
I was so excited for this release and was sure it was going to be my next favourite scent, but I’m happy to say I’ll be passing on this one.

Lift Me Up is a mass appealing (ie smells like many other already done) scents. It’s ok I suppose but it just isn’t what I was expecting from Initio, especially at their price point. If anything it’s a dull and plain skin scent. This could be mistaken for a release from a high street brand. It’s just meh. I mainly get magnolia with some ylang-ylang and musk. I don’t find it lactonic or creamy. The bottle is beautiful, but that’s all this has going for it. The scent is just meh!

I mostly get creamy magnolia + musky tonka. It's beautiful, except the musk is a bit too synthetic here for my taste.

One of the few tropical-leaning scents I enjoy. On 2-3 tries, I get mostly a synthetic feel and dry down, but still beautiful. A likely buy.
