Without cedar

A fragrance that has so many quite different ingredients quickly runs the risk of being completely overloaded and undifferentiated - especially if it is a seemingly rather fresh creation.

What comes through is a mixture of warm, spicy and rather fresh, woody notes. Although all the fruity notes are more or less in the first row, some of them come through much later, even if you can't recognize or assign them directly.

Accordingly, Atlas Cedar makes it somewhat difficult to orientate oneself. It is the more spicy nuances such as cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon that can be crystallized more precisely olfactorily. Right from the start, there is a slightly tart approach that tends a little towards fig/coconut and gradually develops into an unsweet shower gel with a pleasantly deeper oakmoss character.

A little more projection and longevity would certainly not have hurt the Atlas Cedar, as it unfortunately quickly fades from the nose and memory. However, it is still far more appealing than many mainstream releases of recent years.

But in the end, the question arises as to why there is no cedar in Atlas Cedar, let alone Atlas cedar? Strange!
