Spicy!
VERY spicy saffron & pink pepper opening. Mix with bandaid-medicinal oud accord and a pissy blackcurrant leaf, and you've got something quite unique but likely off-putting to most. Shortly after this initial bitter spicy phase, Ombre softens (though not much!) and its floral heart opens. Ahh, now we have a beautiful fruity rose! I sense patchouli, woods, and amber.
This remains dry, spicy, and exotic (to the Occidental, very Oriental). I love how dark it is, and how obviously very little it cares about pleasing crowds. This is going to be for those personalities who love drama and intrigue. It's bold, unusual, and distinct, but with low-moderate projection, requires close encounters. Maybe something for a young, black-lace-clad Stevie Nicks singing a song about an old Welsh witch . . .
