A glass of zesty lemonade
The least rose of all the Cassandra “rose” impressions. I don’t feel roses here – white or otherwise, it’s mostly fruity-fresh. I can detect lychee, lemon, blackcurrant, pear and maybe slightest touch of lily-of-the-valley. Fresh, zesty, a bit tart, and invigorating – like sipping a glass of lemonade with herbs and berries added for flavor. Reminds me a bit of Jeanne Arthes “Amore Mio” – minus apples.
This should be great for simmering summer heat, when you go out of the shower only to become all sticky and sweaty as soon as the water dries on your skin. Roses Blanches will prolong the feeling of freshness. Maybe that’s the metaphorical reason for the name. Unless you are prone to migraines triggered by blackcurrant note, this one is a safe blind buy, yet if you want a rose, you won’t find it here.
