I wanted sweet strawberry candy and I got sweet strawberry candy
If you're not into sweet gourmands and roll your eyes at pink and girly things, this is definitely not for you. If you only wear complex and sophisticated masterpieces of perfumery it might not be the best choice either. But if you want so smell like a scrumptious, inviting piece of strawberries & cream candy from time to time, look no further, this is it!

It's sweet and simple without being too cloying or having any unpleasant candle-like or hairspray-esque undertones. It reminds me a little bit of Lattafa Yara with it's creamy vanilla-musk base, but this one is even more playful and fun, while Yara is cleaner and more versatile.
Pavlova has a very intense strawberry note with a hint of red candy apple and rose, and that sweet and creamy base. That's it. All the listed notes are there, and no unwanted surprises disturb the sweetness. I can't remember if I ever ate a Pavlova, but the scent certainly fits the image of a fluffy meringue cake with berries. Now I really want to try one!

I'm a gourmand girl at heart, but I don't always love super-simple and literal foodie scents. This one is just clean and perfumey enough to be wearable for me, if it was even a little more realistic I would cross the line to "too literal, I don't want to smell like that". It doesn't though. You won't find a better gourmand at this price.
