A Fresh Sharp Aquatic
The top of this is fresh, crisp slightly green and aquatic, to my nose. Mandarin and grapefruit come in first then I catch that hyacinth and lily-of-the valley note combined shortly by a familiar synthetic woodsy base. This fragrance seems very unisex and perfect for daytime use in the Summer. It definitely bares a strong likeness to D&G "Light Blue" , Diptyque's "Eau Lierre" and Moschino's "I Love Love". The aquatic (not marine, but like calone note) top with soft floral and the synth-wood base is what I detect on my skin, this is a class of scents I do not enjoy, but since I got this in a swap, here it sits in my cupboard. On the paper, the bergamot and fruity citrus notes come forward more predominantly. I prefer this on the paper, it is pleasing and sunny as it floats in the air, but reacts badly on my skin as does Light Blue. This fragrance is easy to wear and the bottle top shows a little bit of clever elegance. This is a reasonably well made citrus aquatic scent with good sillage and longevity, but personally I find it irritating to the nose.
