simple can be so beautiful
Everyday life, hectic, stressful, constantly under pressure. No eye left for the beauty of simple things. Passing over and ignoring, fading out and suppressing.
Yet there is so much in the simple things.
The friendly smile of a stranger that makes you smile as well... the smell of freshly cut grass on a warm spring day... the bright colors of a rainbow after a summer rain and the scent of it... the chirping of birds in the early morning that welcomes the day... the soothing silence of a snowy day in winter..A walk on the beach accompanied by the sound of the waves... the laughter of a child coming from the heart... giving or receiving a small compliment... a warm hug... the smell of fresh coffee... the buzzing of a bee announcing spring and nature coming to life.
All these little things, all these simple moments.
If we focused a little more on the simple things, consciously perceiving them instead of letting ourselves be overwhelmed by everyday life, many people (myself included) would be much happier. "Simple" does not automatically imply that something has less value or is just plain. The perspective changes everything. It's the same with "Simply" by Jil Sander.

Feel-good cashmere - enveloping like a cocoon, soft, powdery-sweet and woody-warm, cuddly, lovely but discreetly restrained.
Simple, without a lot of frills. It's there, but not overpowering. Flattering, feminine, minimalistically reduced.
Simply is a fragrance in which I don't smell any specific ingredients, nor do I want to here. I don't smell cocoa, I don't smell mandarin. I could identify cashmeran, sandalwood and heliotrope with a good will.
But honestly! I don't care. I "simply" accept that Simply Eau de Parfum Poudrée Intense is simply knitted, and simply gives me an all-round cozy feeling of security.
