The Magic Of The Earth Wrapped Around You
These are the fine mosses and woods of yesteryear. Imagine a sage brush, a new one, untouched, unopened, fresh. You open it, and inhale the aroma. It's green, minty, mossy, sage, woodsy, all of those things. Then you light it. And it becomes even more of that. Its heady aroma fills the room with such an incense-like scent that your senses are filled with an amazing feeling of power. It's spiritual in its' being.
For those that use sage sticks, they are familiar with this aroma. It's not like incense sticks that are very thin. Sage wands are bundles of sticks that are meant to burn for a length of time, wrapped with cord and are comprised of various woods.
It's so much more than an incense aroma. It's the floor of the forest, the pine needles, the bark, the leaves, the woods and greens combined within the confines of the massiveness of the acreage around you, it's truly a perfume of magic with the Earth. This is one I shall wear on Winter Solstice and for those other opportune times.
I don't see how this could even be replicated today with all of the bans, unfortunately. But, if you're fortunate to pick up a vintage and love being as close and one with the Earth, this just might be for you.
