To be inspired by the music of the 20th century in the development of fragrances is unique and amazingly inventive. Jusbox, the Italian creator of high-end cosmetics and fragrances, skillfully combines music and fragrances.
Jusbox was launched in 2016 by siblings Andrea and Chiara Valdo, who are also at the helm of their creative laboratory "V-Monkeys". They believe that music and the art of perfumery perfectly meld together and share an irradiating power.
Jusbox's first fragrances: “14Hour Dream” & “Beat Café” were released in 2016 and were inspired by Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd. The label wanted to create a fragrant memorial to the emerging youth and punk revolution, a movement that was initiated in the UK. “Live 'n' Loud” or even “Use Abuse” reflect the joyful era of the 1980s.
And which band could embody opulence better than “Queen”? Finally, the label also paid homage to 90s music by taking inspiration from “U2” for the fragrance "Micro Love".
Jusbox has released 16 popular fragrances between 2016 and today.
The power of perfume and music is more than apparent in the flacons. Each bottle contains exactly 78 ml - this number is a tribute to the number of revolutions of earlier records. In addition, each bottle gets a dark circular cap, which is modeled after an LP. This causes each fragrance to evoke both their olfactory power and naturally appealing design.
