Exotic Fruity Guava
First review :)
I have known the brand DKNY for over 10 years. Back then, I did an internship at a perfumery and got to choose the "Red Delicious | DKNY / Donna Karan" at the end. Since then, I have always enjoyed testing new fragrances from this brand!
Presentation:
The cardboard-colored packaging is adorned with pink and green exotic plants. The bottle, as is typical for DKNY, reminds one of an apple. It contains a pink liquid and is topped with a plastic cap that is wrapped in a cork- or wood-like design. On top, the DKNY logo adorns it, reminiscent of an apple sticker :D.
Scent:
When I spray the perfume, a really nice exotic fruity and slightly sour-sparkling guava note mixed with mandarin comes through first. But in my opinion, the guava note is very pronounced. The fruity aspect lasts quite a long time, only the sourness diminishes more and more, and the scent becomes softer in the base. Sandalwood is listed as the base note, which gives the fragrance warmth and rounds it off.
Conclusion:
I think guava is such a cool and exotic scent note. For example, I once had a Labello with guava scent, and it smelled just like that. I would say it’s a really beautiful summer or spring fragrance.
I hope my description is accurate and you can better imagine the scent :)!
