Sun is shining, the weather is sweet
My experience with hemp-centric scents has been slightly disappointing. It could be that the smell of the combusting dried flower bud –aka marihuana– is not easy to replicate or it may be that perfumers are more interested in the green and herbaceous qualities of the cannabis plant rather than the aggressive smell usually associated with weed smoke.

The herbal characteristics of the plant are well represented here not only by the cannabis note but also by an abundant patchouli for what could be considered the “green” part of the title. To recreate the “bubble” side we have a sweet and resinous honey note given a bit of a bitter bite thanks to grapefruit rind and vermouth. This is a green, resinous and sweet bubble indeed that although may not immediately bring too mind the experience of a joint or a bong it does hint at the heady syrupy stupor of a long smoking session, whether in the Jamaican outdoors or some dingy coffeeshop in Amsterdam.

Best So Far
I've tried Feather Supreme and Suit of Lights and finally I think this company got a fragrance right. Their brand is that their fragrances are inspired by a genre of music along with a well known musician in that genre. This fragrance is inspired by Reggae music and Bob Marley. Finally, I can see the dots connecting because this is fresh take on those inspirations. This is a earthy, woody, spicy green fragrance. Those are a lot of adjectives but its what I feel. It smells like your hands after doing some, dirty and herbal. Its almost light enough to call it fresh and light, but a little too dirty to qualify. I was worried that the cannabis note would be too realistic, that I would go into work and get called into HR, but it isn't. Its realistic in a natural way spicy way.

Its $195 for 78ml, I think this would be perfect at a smaller size and price point, like 30 or 50ml. I will say I am disappointed by the longevity, it lasted maybe 4 hours on my skin but it did create a nice "scent bubble" around me.

In the green paradise
“My music will live forever. Maybe it's stupid to say it, but when I'm sure of things, I say them. My music will live forever.” Oh well, Bob Marley was right, and I'm really happy that we chose to celebrate him and his land through a fragrance, among other things created by a nose like Rasquinet.
The description of the Jamaican paradise: green, fresh notes (among which obviously hemp cannot be missing), a riot of nature.
I think it wasn't easy to be able to olfactorily create an image that was really clear and visible to me.
Really realistic, I really like it and I highly recommend smelling it, it's an olfactory experience absolutely worth living.

Tempo-30 and Wild Cherries Reimagined
I could go on again with the old story of why I have never taken a single puff from a cigarette in my unfortunately not-so-young life. Not that there haven't been enough opportunities; I have been offered more than enough cigarettes, and there have certainly been more than enough stressful occasions where it would have been more than just appropriate to take a deep inhale. But I have remained steadfast so far and do not regret it. And so it happens that on one occasion or another, a bag has made its rounds past my nose. I won’t claim that I find the smell particularly appealing, so I also believe that I haven't missed out on anything. I can giggle for hours just fine without it - unfortunately, I just didn't have the opportunity to do so at the last Parfumo meetings.

At the last Parfumo meeting, instead, I received a sample with a purchase. The friendly perfume saleswoman called it a counterpoint to my purchase "Wild Cherry" by Mancera. Well, the lady should keep her word.

The bottles from Jusbox stand out a bit from the often dreary assortment. A clear square glass with a very solid base and colorful accents that make the entire bottle shine, topped with a black knob on which a stylized vinyl record rests. All packaged in a voluminous and beautifully printed box. Very appealing design that runs from A to Z - I like that! For this perfume, a strong green has been chosen, which suits it very well, whimsically named "Green Bubble." Unfortunately, I can't think of any images that justify this name so far - an Allen key, bacon dumplings, a Tempo-30 zone, or daisies would be similarly misleading.

With the first spray, however, associations with another heavily hyped fragrance immediately arise, and a voice inside me groans in annoyance: "Oh, no!" I really can't deal with that musty marijuana smell at all. If it weren't for a very faint hint of a slightly sour yet sweet citrus fruit, which initially kept me from ritual washings. Not that anything is being softened here; it rather underlines, brightens up, and creates friendly moments. And just as Alfons Schubeck always has his buddy, chili, in tow, the spicy smoky essence is followed by dark and dry woods as well as incense and patchouli. Fortunately, all of this forms a dense cloud, and sometimes one element wafts to the forefront, sometimes another. While the initial wave is still very strong, the scent noticeably softens after about a quarter of an hour, but then settles like a fog and keeps you captivated throughout the day. A scent with staying power, then.

You have to like this kind of thing, and you have to be able to use this scent purposefully. Either as a provocation or as an accentuation of your personality or a situation. Although the scent has a very masculine quality in its entirety, I can easily think of a few women who would not only love this scent but would also wear it very well. And that, even though the scent has no feminine moments for me.

I have been with Parfumo long enough, yet I have not been able to fully understand the idol-like reverence for various Nasomatto fragrances and their elevation in the form of Black Afghano. Now I have a scent in front of me that again combines a cannabis note with dirty woods, but this time I am not so averse. Perhaps because it is not so in-your-face, not so vehement, not so screaming. Yet again, nothing here is calling me "Buy me!" I guess I better stick with my "Wild Cherry," as that scent is very much liked by my floating peach blossom.

Everything's gonna be alright..
Jamaica - An island of longing, my island of longing...

As soon as you step onto the island, you automatically start to shine, the friendly people, this special culture, the sun on your skin. The climate is perfect. And this is also reflected in the scent for me. It stuck in my nose during the first wear, and today I couldn't pass it by.

Reggae music has been Jamaica's emotional outlet since its birth, expressing thoughts and feelings about life, love, and religion. Jusbox releases a Spotify playlist with the fragrance, allowing you to not only smell the scent but also hear it.

The scent of smoky woods meets Jamaican green vegetation and the fascinating, spiritual power of intoxicating leaves. A spicy summer composition in the style of Bob Marley, which can still be intensely perceived after a long evening... for me, it's clearly a "Ya man"!

Creamy, sweet patchouli in the opening. The sour dry down left something to be desired on my skin.

Sweet green cannabis and herbal patchouli aplenty. Jamaican reggae music is the theme for this one.

A warm and resinous, yet gently dusty spicy-woody Mid season fragrance, with a pronounced, yet juicy, spicy bitter-green opening. Unisex!

Chemical accident. Afterwards, it's claimed that a stoner is to blame, even though there wasn't a single real plant on the entire site.

Provocative-smelling cannabis club, though not quite as intense as Black Afghano.

The green isn't worth mentioning. The Black Afghan was the inspiration here and the little green one changes nothing. Better go for the Nasomatto!

It really does remind me of Black Afgano. Here, however, it's in green and therefore fresher and more ethereal. Unfortunately a bit synthetic. Special.

Black Afghano + Grapefruit + Slusheis. The resinous-woody base of the scent comes across as green, but also distinctly plastic-like. Hm..

Black Afgano meets Grapefruit. It brings brighter elements to the BA density, very cool. I like it a bit more than the original.
