Love it

It’s starting to get hot in Dubai, so I thought this fragrance would be a nice addition to my collection. I really love it. It’s very fruity and fresh. I love mango, so I appreciate the mango note in this one; it’s beautiful. I can also smell the pineapple. It has a lot of Ambroxan.
It's not a blind buy though, so you have to get it a try. A decant would be best to try it for a while before making the purchase.

Yummy smell but very similar to cheaper

Able to sample this today and it is really nice, fruity, not too sweet, and with an ambroxen vanilla radiant base. However, to my nose it is very similar to Donna Born in Roma’s new flanker Extradose. I think it is the fruity plus rum plus vanilla. And I can find Extradose for about half the cost. In the end, I don’t feel I need either perfume because I have the OG Donna Born in Roma which is close enough.

Somehow disappointing "normal"

The scent reminds me of several other perfumes with mango, e.g. Valhalla by Paradis des Sens or Loewe Paula's Ibiza Cosmic. If someone is looking for a similarly photorealistic mango note as in Xerjoff Cruz del Sur 2, this is the wrong fragrance profile. Here, the mango smells like it does in most perfumes. I also find that the fragrance profile has a sharpness (perhaps from sandalwood or Ambroxan?) - creamy or rounded would not be the right description in my opinion. I would describe the scent as rather sharp, fruity-woody. It is certainly a good fragrance for anyone who likes this scent profile, just not what I was expecting.

A Dream on Her, Too Feminine for Me

I tested Carioca Heart out of curiosity - the notes list sounded like vacation: mango, pineapple, lemon, a bit of rum, creamy base. I thought it might have a fruity, tropical vibe with depth. But wow ... right from the first spray, really sweet, really juicy, really feminine.

The pineapple-mango combo hits you immediately, with a creamy undertone, a bit floral, and then later vanilla comes in. The sweetness lingers for a long time, and for me, it eventually just becomes too sticky. Even the rum, which could have been interesting, gets a bit lost in the fruit-vanilla cocktail. Unfortunately, not for me, too playful, too fruity, and too colorful.

But on my girlfriend? Absolutely next level. The scent develops beautifully on her skin, becoming softer, rounder, yet still radiant. And hey, she loves it. She says herself: “This is 100% me in summer.” I believe her. And every time she wears it, I still turn around, even though I couldn't wear it myself.

Somehow like a tropical dessert cocktail, fun, loud, sweet, fruity. Too feminine for me, but on the right person? Really strong. My girlfriend adopted it immediately, but I prefer to stick with my freshies.
