Vanilla for travelers
Who doesn't like to travel? And what helps us in our dreams to travel to other cities, countries and even continents? Different smells, for example. Such as Vanilla, that is one of those historical spices, which in the past were brought from faraway distances and were of great value. Therefore, probably in our heads it began to be associated not only with the smell of sweets and bakery, but also with the aroma of travels, something distant and unknown.
I call this L'Artisan's Vanilla “vanilla for travelers”. It combines the sweetness of precious vanilla pods with the echoes of tropical salty air and the tarred wood of piligrim ships. It is rather bright, sweet-resinous yet spectrally it is more on a dark side of the palette (it also seems to me a little synthetic, but just a bit).
All in all, it is a nice, long lasting, good quality L'Artisan Parfumeur creation, however their Havana Vanille is still my number one vanilla of this brand.
