Who needs what now?

Laboratorio Ollfattivo's Need_U is a slight, subtle scent of bitter citrus peel and aromatic zest accompanied by mildly piney juniper berries and the nostril-singing sting of effervescence. I am not sure what they need here, is it a Campari and soda? I mean, I can certainly relate to that. But I don’t know that I need a whole perfume about it.

This is the epitome of a your skin but better scent, as it’s very close to skin and only intimately projects. This does open very bright and fresh with a rosy pink pepper and citrus. The heart of this is very marine, like a beach air blended with a musky ambroxan and airy florals. It smells like your skin after a day at the beach. It’s a naturally musky scent with a slight sweetness, almost similar to sweat but in no means a bad way. It’s like a sweetly familiar musk. The dry down is a bit more powdery from the sandalwood but still a very much “your skin at the beach” sort of scent

Need More Need U

Soft and clean. Not long lasting so choose your occasion wisely. On a warmer day the scent trail was nonexistent after just a few hours. It’s simple, clean, bright and pretty. The marine notes, lemon, and pink pepper are well balanced and I like the fact that the white flower notes are faint. While it’s not a terribly exciting scent, for me it’s a perfect office scent. I went through the bottle much quicker than I anticipated because it’s such an easy scent to reach for.

One of my favourites

I literally don't know if there's a better fresh and clean scent than this. Clean skin, fresh air, salty sea drops - that's what it is about. It's so cozy and calming, like a cool blanket over you on a hot day next to the sea. For me, it's a comfort scent which I can wear always and everywhere - and I believe it will suit anyone of any age.

Need_U - Like_U

A bit of pencil, a bit of citrus, some hard-to-define cotton-cloud softness, and a whole lot of fresh air.
It must be about a year ago that I made this blind purchase while ordering samples among colleagues. The description and the bottle somehow appealed to me.

Then this fragrance arrived in its pretty little box, and I was initially quite disappointed.
I sprayed it on. It somehow smelled like - NOTHING. Air. Oh noooooo!
(I somehow have the feeling that a fragrance needs to "mature" on its way from the bottle, through the tube, to the skin. This has happened to me before......)
After several attempts, Need_U finally came to life and became one of the few not inexpensive fragrances that I really like.

Woody-fresh, without being too forest-like.
No exaggerated citrus bomb (like Light Blue, which was mentioned here and at least in the girls' version strongly reminds of apple-lemon soda - don't get me wrong, I like it. In midsummer.)
A light breeze, but not too windy.
One of my favorites.
Strikingly unobtrusive.
Weird and boring at the same time.
Cool for everyday, if you’re not looking for the usual suspects of light drivel that everyone wears anyway.

I will be a repeat offender and will soon buy the big bottle!

Not bad, but really weak and short lasting. I find the scent to be almost identical to Toy 2 Pearl with significantly better performance.
