Oxygène Homme Lanvin 2001 Eau de Toilette

This is a Wonderful Scent, Fresh, Crisp, Green, Herbal, Airy and Unique. It reminds me of Forest, Jungle and their Trees, lakes . It opens up with a bit sharp fresh spicy, green and spices notes in the background then dry down is Earthy, Musky and Woody. If you like a fresh spicy perfume with Unique note and style, You will like this one. It has a very unique composition and A masterful Well-blended. Longevity is good, I really enjoy it when the weather is warm. Highly Recommended.

Expected nothing and got it all. From the notes alone you would expect a very green and herbaceous scent, however the first sniff revealed a gorgeous 90s aquatic alla Acqua di Gio. Watery and sweet freshness accompanied by slight green pine nuances. The color of the bottle describes it quite well. It would fit perfectly in the AdG lineup as a release in the late 90s. There are not citrus fruits listed but there is definetly a fresh citrus splash in the opening - quite fizzy. Its not that synthetic, the performance is ok and all that for 14 bucks. Try it and write me a comment, I am interested what you guys are thinking!

It's not aquatic and that's why most people get confused.
Blue coloured fragrances don't automatically mean that you are holding the ocean in a bottle.

It has a nice foresty, earthy, herbal and green character.
What does a forest provide?
Exactly, OXYGENE.
Standing in a forest surrounded by trees looking up into the sky on a sunny day.....what do I see?
Exactly, a BLUE sky full of OXYGEN.

Absolutely underrated.

I don't know why the color of the fragrance is light blue? ...This fragrance has green, herbal and woody ingredients...The color of the perfume should be green.

A green herbal perfume that goes back to the classic school of fragrances, with a cheap price and an aroma that lasts for maximum an hour... I think the best use for it is for personal enjoyment on hot summer days.

I was hoping this fragrance would lean more into the juniper and pines for a woodsy wintery scent, but this definitely belongs in the realm of blue aquatic scents as the cypress takes precedence as a pseudo citrus. The herbs too push this away from a cool forest to a cluster of trees hugging the Mediterranean coast. There is a naivety in its brightness and sweetness, but, as with youth, it hasn’t mustered the courage to proclaim anything novel just yet.
