Durability beast, compliment magnet and love at first sniff
For me, Lattafa Maahir is first and foremost a special fragrance. It is the fragrance that opened the doors to the world of perfume for me. For me, it was that certain fragrance that stands out from others and makes you smell special.
I bought this fragrance after smelling it on a friend. I was so fascinated that I told myself I had to have it.
I don't have much to say about the fragrance experience itself. I'm relatively bad at picking out fragrance notes, but what I can say is that I really like the opening with rose and saffron. It may be a little too synthetic for some people and there is also some of that typical "Lattafa DNA" in it, but that doesn't bother me at all.
In the drydown, the fragrance is great and doesn't lose any of its performance.
If you put some of it on your clothes, I can tell you that you won't get rid of the fragrance for several days. Longevity is absolutely outstanding.
But be careful! The fragrance can quickly become overpowering if you are not careful.
Surprisingly, this is also the fragrance for which I have received the most compliments from the opposite sex so far. However, I have to say that they were from the Arab world and probably just know and like this type of fragrance.
I can't understand why Maahir isn't in the top 10 at Lattafas. Somehow it gets lost on the internet and in forum discussions. Unfortunately, you don't have the opportunity to test it everywhere. What I recommend is that in many city centers/train station districts there are these oriental cell phone stores and supermarkets. If you're lucky, you might even find one that has this type of perfume.
If you're a fan of Lattafa fragrances, you can't go wrong here!
P.S. I think the bottle design is really cool, but what annoys me a bit is that the center of gravity of the bottle is so high up and it can tip over more easily.
